2010 NASCAR Odds - Emory Healthcare 500 – Denny Hamlin On the Pole

Denny Hamlin was the fastest in qualifying Saturday and he will start up front in Sunday’s Emory Healthcare 500.
Kyle Busch now joins Hamlin as the favorites to win the event and each has been given 5/1 odds to win according to oddsmakers at the online sports book Sportsbook.com. Other short odds to win are Jimmie Johnson (7/1) and Carl Edwards (10/1).
Kyle Busch is third in the standings, 351 points behind leader Kevin Harvick. He has three wins on the year and he has one win in Atlanta. His average finish is 18.3 and his driver rating on this track is 88.7. Busch will start third on Sunday.
Hamlin has now won at this track in his career and his average finish is 15.9 and his driver rating at the track is 94.5. He is currently fifth in the standings. Hamlin has five wins on the year.
Johnson is currently ninth in the standings, 444 points behind Harvick. Johnson has five wins on the year and in his career, he has won this event twice, in 2007 and 2004. Johnson has won three times at Atlanta and has an average finish of 10.8 and his driver rating is 109.5, which ranks best in the series. Johnson will start from the seventh position in the race.
Carl Edwards has won three times at Atlanta and his average finish is 15.3 while his driver rating is 101.8, which is the second-best in the series. Edwards is currently fourth in the standings, 408 points outside of first. Edwards is winless on the year and he will start fourth on Sunday.
