With this being just one of two races on a road course, the odds are quite different than most weeks.

Tony Stewart and road course specialist Marcos Ambrose are considered the favorites to win the event and each has been given 7/2 odds to win according to oddsmakers at the online sports book SBGGLOBAL. Other short odds to win are Juan Pablo Montoya (8/1), Jeff Gordon (8/1), Kyle Busch (8/1), and Jimmie Johnson (8/1).

Ambrose is 28th in the standings right now and he has just two top 10’s in 21 races.

Montoya has never won this event but does hold a road course victory. At Watkins Glen, Montoya has an average finish of 16.3 and a driver rating of 101.4. Montoya is 21st in the standings right now with four top 5’s.
