2010 NASCAR Odds – Pepsi MAX 400 – Johnson Favored By Oddsmakers

Now in the points lead, Jimmie Johnson, is favored to increase his lead in the 2010 Pepsi MAX 400 this Sunday from Auto Club Speedway.
Johnson is the favorite to win the race and has 2/1 odds to win according to oddsmakers at the online sports book Sportsbook.com. Other short odds to win are Carl Edwards (8/1), Jeff Gordon (8/1), and Greg Biffle (8/1).
Johnson leads Denny Hamlin by 35 points in the standings. He has six wins on the year, tied for the most of any driver. At Auto Club Speedway, Johnson has five wins with an average finish of 5.5 and a driver rating of 124.0, best of any active driver.
Edwards is fourth in the season standings despite going winless on the year. He has one win in his career at Fontana with an average finish of 7.2 on the track and a driver rating of 102.3.
Gordon is fifth in the current standings and also is winless on the season. Gordon has three wins in his career at this track with an average finish of 11.0 and a driver rating of 99.0.
Biffle sits eighth in the standings with two wins on the year. He has never won in this track and has an average driver rating of 86.7 with an average finish of 16.7.
