2010 NASCAR Odds – Price Chopper 400 – Jimmie Johnson Favored

The 2010 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series heads to Kansas Speedway this week for the running of the Price Chopper 400.
Jimmie Johnson is the favorite to win the race according to oddsmakers at the online sports book BroburySports.com. Other short odds to win are Jeff Gordon (7/1), Kyle Busch (7/1), Greg Biffle (10/1), and Carl Edwards (10/1).
Johnson won this event in 2008 and he has six wins on the season, which had gotten him to second in the point standings, 35 points behind leader Denny Hamlin. In his career, he has one win at Kansas Speedway with an average finish of 10.3 and a driver rating of 122.6, which is tops for any driver in the race.
Gordon has won this event twice in his career and he is currently eighth in the standings but is winless on the year. Gordon has an average finish of 8.9 on this track while his driver rating is 104.7.
Busch has never won at this track, but he does has three wins on the year, putting him third in the standings. His average finish at the track is 24.3 while his driver rating is just 74.4.
Biffle has one win at Kansas Speedway and this season, he has one win and is ninth in the standings. Biffle has an average finish of 9.0 at this track and his driver rating is 119.6.
Edwards has not won at Kansas or won this year. He sits sixth in the standings and his average finish at Kansas Speedway is 13.3 and his driver rating is 94.2.
