2010 NASCAR Odds – TUMS Fast Relief 500 – Johnson & Hamlin Favored

Five races remain in the 2010 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season and the next stop is Martinsville Speedway for the running of the TUMS Fast Relief 500.
Jimmie Johnson and Denny Hamlin are favored to win the race with each having 3/1 odds to win according to oddsmakers at the online sports book Sportsbook.com. Other short odds to win are Jeff Gordon (6/1), and Tony Stewart (10/1).
Johnson is leading the point standings by 41 over Hamlin. Johnson has six wins on the year with 14 top 5’s. At Martinsville, Johnson has six wins with an average finish of 5.4 and a driver rating of 123.8, which ranks best of any current driver.
Hamlin also has six wins on the season to go with 12 top 5’s. At Martinsville, he has three wins with an average finish of 6.6 and a driver rating of 111.4, which ranks third in the series.
Gordon is fourth in the season standings. He is winless on the year with 11 top 5’s. He has seven wins in his career at Martinsville and has an average finish of 6.7 and a driver rating of 123.0.
Stewart is sixth in the point standings with two wins and 9 top 5’s on the year. Stewart has two wins at this track with an average finish of 12.6 and a driver rating of 108.4.
