2010 NASCAR Odds - Zippo 200 at the Glen – Ambrose Favored
The 2010 NASCAR Nationwide Series heads to Watkins Glen on Saturday for the running of the Zippo 200 at the Glen.
The Favorite
Marcos Ambrose is considered the favorites to win the event and has been given 7/4 odds to win according to oddsmakers at the online sports book SBGGLOBAL. Other short odds to win are Kyle Busch (7/2), Carl Edwards (5/1), and Ron Fellows (6/1). Ambrose is a road course specialist that is also one of the favorites to win the Sprint Cup series race on Sunday. Ambrose has won the last two Zippo 200s. This race will be Ambrose’s first Nationwide appearance of 2010.
Past Winners
Kevin Harvick was the last to win this race aside from Ambrose. Harvick won the event in 2007 while Kurt Busch won in 2006 and Ryan Newman won in 2005. Fellows took the checkered flag in this event in 1998, 2000, and 2001. Harvick has 8/1 odds to win this race while Fellows is at 6/1
Season Standings
Brad Keselowski leads the points standings by 231 over Edwards. Keselowski has three wins on the year. Busch sits third despite having nine wins in 2010, but he has missed four races altogether. Justin Allgaier and Paul Menard round out the top five. Keselowski has 20/1 odds to win this race while Menard has 25/1 odds and Allgaier is part of the Field that has 12/1 odds.
