2011 NASCAR Odds – AAA 400 – Johnson & Busch Favored By Oddsmakers

DOVER, DE (TheSpread) – The third race of the NASCAR Chase for the Championship takes place on Sunday with the AAA 400 running from Dover International Raceway.
According to oddsmakers, Jimmie Johnson and Kyle Busch are the favorites to win the race as each driver has 6/1 odds to win. Carl Edwards also has short odds, as he comes in with 7/1 odds to win.
Johnson is currently 10th in the point standings. He is 29 points out of first place. He has one win and 11 top 5’s this year. Johnson has had a lot of success at Dover, as he has six wins in 19 races. His average finish at this track is 9.6 while his driver rating is 117.4, which is tops of any driver in the series.
Busch is tied for sixth in the point standings, 26 points out of first. Busch has four wins this year and 13 top 5’s, both of which are tied for the series lead. Busch has won twice in 13 races at Dover and he also owns seven top 5’s. His average finish at this track is 13.8 while his driver rating is 102.0, which ranks fifth in the series.
Edwards is fourth in the standings. He is 14 points out of first place. Edwards has one win and 13 top 5’s on the year. Edwards owns one win at Dover with six top 5’s in 14 races. His average finish is 7.6 at the track while his driver rating is 104.9, which ranks fourth in the series.
