2011 NASCAR Odds – Bashas’ Supermarkets 200 – Kyle Busch Favored

AVONDALE, AZ (TheSpread) – The 2011 NASCAR Nationwide Series heads to Phoenix International Raceway this Saturday for the Bashas’ Supermarkets 200.

According to oddsmakers at online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com, the always competitive Kyle Busch is favored to win with 2/1 odds while other short odds to win are Kevin Harvick and Carl Edwards, who each have 7/2 odds to win.

Busch is the defending champion of this race and he also took the title in 2008. Busch has won 32 Nationwide races over the previous three seasons in a total of 94 starts. He places seventh in the initial race of the season.

Harvick won the 2006 race and has 34 Nationwide wins in his career over 232 races. Harvick didn’t compete in the race at Daytona, but his average finish in a Nationwide races is 8.5.

Edwards has not won this event in his career but he has 29 wins over 212 career Nationwide starts. He took 29th in the race at Daytona, but his average finish has been inside the top 10 over the last three seasons.
