2011 NASCAR Odds – Dollar General 300 – Edwards Favored

JOLIET, IL (TheSpread) – The NASCAR Nationwide Series will compete in the Dollar General 300 on Saturday afternoon from Chicagoland Speedway.

According to oddsmakers, Carl Edwards the favorite to win this race with 2/1 odds to win. Other short odd to win are Brad Keselowski and Joey Logano, who each have 4/1 odds.

Edwards has not won this event, but he does have six wins in 26 races. His average finish in the series this year is 7.7. He has placed in the top 5 in seven of his last eight races.

Keselowski is the defending champion of this race. He has two Nationwide wins in 22 races this year. His average finish this year is 11.5 but he has finished outside the top 10 in two of his last four races.

Logano has never won this event but he does have one victory in 15 races. His average finish this year is 7.7 and he has finished in the top 3 of his last two races.
