2011 NASCAR Odds – Subway Fresh Fit 500 – Johnson & Hamlin Favored

VONDALE, AZ (TheSpread) Following an exciting Daytona 500 last Sunday, the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series heads west this week for the 2011 Subway Fresh Fit 500.
Now that the series is away from restrictor plate racing, more of the familiar names are amongst the favorites to win this week’s race.
According to oddsmakers at online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com, both Jimmie Johnson and Denny Hamlin are the favorites to win this race with 5/1 odds each while Kyle Busch and Carl Edwards each have 7/1 odds.
Hamlin has never won at Phoenix but he has five top 5’s and six top 10’s there in his career. His average finish at the track 11.6 and his driver rating is 98.6, which ranks sixth in the series.
Johnson has four wins at Phoenix in his career along with 10 top 5’s and 13 top 10’s. His average finish is an impressive 4.9 and his driver rating is 122.6, tops of any driver in NASCAR.
Kyle Busch has won at Phoenix one time in his career and he has 7 top 10’s. His average finish is 13.8 and his driver rating is 96.3, which ranks seventh in the series.
Edwards has one win in his career at Phoenix along with five top 5’s and nine top 10’s. Edwards’ average finish is 11.8 and his driver rating is 101.7, which is second only to Johnson.
The Subway Fresh Fit 500 will take place Sunday, Feb. 27 from Phoenix International Raceway at 3:14PM ET. For complete odds and track information on this year’s event, see below.
