2013 NASCAR Camping World RV Sales 500 Picks & Predictions

TALLADEGA, AL (ATS Consultants) - NASCAR heads to Talladega Superspeedway today for the Camping World RV 500. Which drive will take home the checkered flag?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, Kyle Busch, Jimmie Johnson, Matt Kenseth, Jeff Gordon, Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Kevin Harvick are all 10/1, respectively, to win today's race. Brad Keselowski, meanwhile, is 15/1, as are Kasey Kahne, Kurt Busch and Clint Bowyer, respectively.
Kenseth is the current Sprint Cup points leader and holds a four-point lead over Johnson. He has seven wins and nine top 5s on the year and has one win at Talladega with an average finish of 17.6. His driver rating at the track is 91.5, which is best of any driver in the field.
Johnson, meanwhile, is second in the standings and has five wins and 13 tops 5s this season. He's won twice at Talladega and has an average finish of 17.1 at this track. His driver rating at Talladega is 83.1, which ranks 10th in the series.

Kyle Busch (10/1)
Busch has just one win at Talladega, which came back in April of 2008, and also has a driver rating of 20.4. But he also has four wins in 31 starts this season with 15 top-5 finishes and 19 top-10 finishes. He's led for 1,204 laps this season and has also claimed three poles. He's coming off a strong effort in his latest outing, placing fifth at the Bank of America 500 at Charlotte after starting ninth. He's running strong and should finish near the top today.
Kevin Harvick (10/1)
Harvick picked up a victory at Talladega back in April of 2010 and has finished in the top 10 nine times here throughout his career. He currently ranks third in the Sprint Cup standings and has finished in the top 10 in all five of his last five races. That included a fourth-place finish at Charlotte last week when he lead for 8 laps after starting 10th. With eight top-5 finishes and 17 top-10 finishes in 31 starts this year, Harvick is a good bet to run near the front today.

Austin Dillon (40/1)
Dillon has run strong over his last five races. He placed second at Charlotte last week and sixth at Kansas two weeks ago. He also placed sixth at Dover back on September 28, second at Kentucky on September 21, and fourth at Chicago on September 14. At 40/1, he represents value today.
