2013 NASCAR Daytona 500 Danica Patrick Prop Odds & Wagers
By Drew Sharper

DAYTONA BEACH, FL (TheSpread) – Danica Patrick is the talk of the NASCAR world heading into the Daytona 500. Here is a look at the prop odds available for her for Sunday’s race.

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Patrick has been given odds of +550 to finish in the top 3 and +150 odds to finish in the top 10. Also, when it comes to competing against her public boyfriend, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., each has been given odds of -115 to finish ahead of the other.

Patrick has only competed in the Daytona 500 one time, placing 38th after crashing on the second lap of the race. She has handled herself well thus far this week, running strong in practices and winning the pole for Sunday’s race. She finished 17th in her duel race, but was driving conservatively and staying out of trouble.

The last driver to win the Daytona 500 from the pole position was Dale Jarrett, who won back in 2000. It still seems like a pretty good longshot for Patrick to win the 500, but beating Stenhouse Jr. may not be out of the question. Stenhouse Jr. will start 28th on Sunday after finishing 14th in his respective duel race. Stenhouse raced in the Daytona 500 for the first time last year, placing 20th. He competed in just two Sprint Cup races last year, placing 12th in Dover. He has beaten Patrick in both of his Sprint Cup appearances, but the difference in starting position could be big.
