2013 NASCAR Daytona 500 Odds: Kevin Harvck, Kyle Busch Win Duels
By Drew Sharper

DAYTONA BEACH, FL (TheSpread) – Kevin Harvick and Kyle Busch made the most of Thursday’s Budweiser Duels, as they won their respective races to help improve their chances to win the Daytona 500.

Harvick picked up the win in the first duel race, complimenting his win in the Sprint Unlimited last weekend. He finished ahead of Greg Biffle and will now be starting in the third position behind pole sitter Danica Patrick. Harvick had odds of +450 to win his duel race, which means a wager of $100 on him to win will pay out an additional $450.

In the second duel, Busch led 19 of the 60 laps while Jeff Gordon led 38 laps on the day. Busch finished ahead of Kasey Kahne to pick up the victory. Coming into the race, Busch had odds of +300 to win, which means a wager of $100 on him to win will pay out an additional $300. Busch will start fourth for Sunday’s race.

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Harvick is now the favorite to win this race, as he has a money line of +900 for Sunday. Other short odds to win are Tony Stewart, Matt Kenseth and Busch, who each have odds of +1000 to prevail. You can see the starting grid for Sunday’s race below.
