CONCORD, NC (TheSpread) – NASCAR hosts its annual exhibition, the Sprint All-Star Race, this Saturday night. Here is a look at the odds to win this year’s event.
This race is contested in four segments of 20 laps and a 10-lap sprint to the finish. Only drivers that won a race in the last year, have won a series title in the last 10 years, or winners of the Sprint Showdown and fan vote have the ability to compete in this race. According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Kyle Busch and Jimmie Johnson are favored to win, as they each have 5/1 odds to win, while Matt Kenseth has been given 6/1 odds to win.
Johnson has won this event three times, including last year. His average finish in this exhibition is 6.6, while his driver rating in this event is 104.9, which ranks fourth in the series. Johnson is currently the points leader by 44 points. He has two wins and six top 5s on the year.
Kyle Busch has never won this event, but has two top 5s. His average finish in the event is 12.4 and his driver rating is 106.7, which is third-best of any current driver. Busch is eighth in the point standings, 98 points out of first. He has two wins and five top 5s this year.

Kenseth is third in the point standings, 59 points out of first. Kenseth has a series-best three wins this year.
