2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup Championship Updated Odds: Johnson Favored

(TheSpread) – The 2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup Season has reached the 10-race Chase for the Championship. Here is an updated look at the odds to win this year’s title.

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Jimmie Johnson is the favorite to win the season-long title, as he has 3/2 odds. Other short odds to win are Kyle Busch and Matt Kenseth, who each have 7/2 odds.

Johnson is a five-time winner of the Sprint Cup title, with his last victory coming in 2010. Johnson is second in the point standings, 3 points behind Kenseth for first place. Johnson has four wins and nine top 5’s this year.

Kyle Busch has never won the Sprint Cup title. He is currently tied for second in the point standings, 3 points behind Kenseth. Busch has four wins and 11 top 5s on the year.

Matt Kenseth won the Sprint Cup title in 2003. Kenseth is the current points leader, as he has a series-best five wins on the year to go along with six top 5s.
