2013 NASCAR Sprint Unlimited Odds: Dale Earnhardt Jr. Favored To Win

DAYTONA BEACH, FL (TheSpread) – The first bit of NASCAR racing for 2013 takes place on Saturday, with the running of the Sprint Unlimited. Here is a look at the odds to win this race.
The Sprint Unlimited is an exhibition race that consists of 75 laps of racing at Daytona International Speedway. The race format will actually be decided by online polls on the NASCAR website, including length of segments and how many drivers will be unlimited after the second segment. According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, there are four drivers favored to win this race, as each has 8/1 odds to win. Those four drivers are Dale Earnhardt Jr., Kyle Busch, Kevin Harvick and Matt Kenseth.
Busch is the defending champion of this event. He is coming into this season having finished 13th in the standings last year. He had just one win in 2012.
Dale Jr. has won this event twice. The last time came in 2008. Earnhardt placed 12th in the standings last year, picking up just one win.
Harvick is also a two-time winner of this event. He won in 2009 and 2010. Harvick was eighth in the NASCAR standings last year, winning one race.
Kenseth has never won this event. Kenseth was seventh in the NASCAR standings last year, and he picked up a total of three victories.
