Kenseth is eighth in the standings. He is 25 points out of first place and has two top 10s this season. Kenseth is a three-time winner at Auto Club Speedway. He has an average finish of 10.1 at the track and a driver rating of 105.5 there, which ranks third amongst current drivers.
Keselowski is the current points leader by 10 points. He has one win and three top 5s this season. Keselowski has not fared well in this race, placing 23rd last year and 18th in 2012.
