2014 NASCAR Coca-Cola 600 Picks & Predictions
By ATSSportsline.com

CONCORD, NC (ATS CONSULTANTS) – The longest race of the NASCAR season takes place tonight. Here are some driver picks for the Coca-Cola 600.

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Jimmie Johnson is the favorite to win, as he has 9/2 odds, while Kevin Harvick has been given 5/1 odds.

Here are the drivers we like

Jeff Gordon 12/1

Gordon is the current points leader and he has a win to his credit this year. He is having one of his best seasons in some time. Gordon is a five-time winner at Charlotte and has a driver rating of 88.8 at the track. This race means a lot to Gordon, with Hendrick Motorsports right near the track. He will be motivated to get a win this weekend and stay atop the point standings.

Denny Hamlin 12/1

Hamlin has been showing some signs of improvement after a sluggish start to the season. He had a win a few weeks ago and ended up ninth on this track last weekend. Hamlin hasn’t won at Charlotte, but he has strong numbers there. His average finish at the track is 13.2 and his driver rating there is 93.4, which ranks fifth in the series. Hamlin is primed to get a series of wins and tonight could start that run.

Kurt Busch 35/1

Busch is going to look to make a miracle happen by winning this race after competing in the Indianapolis 500 earlier in the day. Busch has a win to his credit this year and has a stronger team behind him this season than he has had the past few years. Busch has won at Charlotte in the past and has a top-10 driver rating at the track. Look for Busch to be in the mix late in the race.
