2014 NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race Picks & Predictions
By Drew Sharper

CONCORD, NC (TheSpread) – The 2014 NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race is set to take place tonight. Here is a look at some potential winners for this exhibition.

According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Jimmie Johnson and Kevin Harvick are favored, as each has 5/1 odds to win while four other drivers have 8/1 odds.

Here are the drivers we like.

Jimmie Johnson 5/1

Johnson comes into this event as one of its best in history, winning it four times. He is also the two-time defending champion of the event as well. Johnson is off to a bit of a slow start in the Sprint Cup season and searching for his first win of the year. With that being said, Johnson will be hungry this weekend to get his team on track. Don’t be surprised to see Johnson make it three straight All-Star wins.

Brad Keselowski 8/1

Keselowski has never won the All-Star Race, but an event like this is right up his wheelhouse. Keselowski likes the good old days of racing and this event invites, good competitive driving. With the final stretch being a 10-lap sprint, Keselowski is a driver to look out for. He has run up front a lot this year and has never been more confident in his skills. He will push the envelope to win this event and that makes his worth wagering on.

Kurt Busch 30/1

Like Keselowski, Busch is a very competitive driver that is looking to put a marquee win to his name. A former winner of this event in 2010, Busch can use a victory on Saturday to propel him to a push in the next stage of the Spring Cup season. Long races haven’t been kind to Busch, but a short sprint is something he should flourish in. With 30/1 odds, Busch has a lot of value to bet on.
