2014 NASCAR Sprint Showdown Odds: Bowyer & Larson Favored

CONCORD, NC (TheSpread) – For the drivers not qualified for the Sprint All-Star Race, they will look to do so by winning the Sprint Showdown on Friday.
This is a 40-lap race that will featured drivers not yet qualified for the All-Star Race. According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, both Clint Bowyer and Kyle Larson are favored, as each has 5/2 odds while Paul Menard comes in with 7/1 odds.
Bowyer is currently 20th in the point standings, 112 points out of first. Bowyer has just one top 5 on the year to go with three top 10s. His average finish on the year is 18.8.
Larson is a rookie, but is currently tied for 12th in the point standings, 76 points out of first. Larson has two top 5s and five top 10s on the year. His average finish in the series is 15.1.
Menard is 18th in the point standings, 102 points out of first place. Menard has one top 5 and five top 10s this year. His average finish on the track is 17.7.
