2014 NASCAR The Profit on CNBC 500 Odds To Win: Johnson Favored

AVONDALE, AZ (TheSpread) – The 2014 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series is back in its regular rotation this week, with the running of The Profit on CNBC 500. Here is a look at the odds for the race.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Jimmie Johnson is the favorite to win the race, as he has 6/1 odds. Other short odds to win are Denny Hamlin (7/1) and Kyle Busch (15/2).
Johnson currently sits in fourth place following the Daytona 500, 8 points out of first. Johnson has won four times at Phoenix and his average finish here is 6.3. He has the best driver rating at this track, which is 116.7.
Hamlin is in second place after finishing runner-up in the Daytona 500. He has one win at this track with an average finish of 10.9. His driver rating there is 98.2, which ranks sixth amongst current drivers.
Busch is 17th in the standings, 22 points out of first. Busch has one win at Phoenix to go with three top 5s. His average finish at the track is 13.5 and his driver rating there is 97.4, which ranks eighth in the series.
