According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Kevin Harvick is the current favorite to win this race with 17/4 odds. Jeff Gordon has 7/1 odds while Carl Edwards, Jimmie Johnson and Joey Logano each have 9/1 odds. This race takes place today at 1:16PM ET from Atlanta Motor Speedway.
Carl Edwards is worth considering today. He comes into the race with 9/1 odds and will start fifth. He is a three-time winner at Atlanta in his career with an average finish of 14.6 and a driver rating of 100.1. His driver ratings ranks third amongst today’s field.
Brad Keselowski is one we like as well. He has 10/1 odds today and will start in 12th position. He has yet to win at this track, but after a rough Daytona 500, he will be eager to erase that memory today with a strong showing. Look for an aggressive performance from him.
A.J. Allmendinger is a long shot to win, as he has 200/1 odds, but there are some signs to consider. He will start 11th today and is coming off a 20th-place finish last week. Though he lacks success at most tracks, he has done well at Atlanta, placing 14th in 2013 and 10th in 2012. Of the long shots, he could be the one to pay off today.
