Only 14 drivers listed with odds for tonights Nationwide race, what do you think about the field at 8/1?

29 other chances to hit a decent payout

You are throwing you money away, I thought the same thing but looked at the drivers and they would need a miracle to win this race.

I took J Burton 8/1 to make the race interesting but how do you beat Busch this year in this series. 😛

Qualifying rained out at Darlington, Busch starts on pole

Darlington, SC (Sports Network) - Rain has forced NASCAR officials to cancel qualifying for Friday night's Diamond Hill Plywood 200 Nationwide Series race at Darlington Raceway.

Qualifying was scheduled to begin at 3:10 p.m. (et), but the skies opened up minutes before, just as Sprint Cup Series practice wrapped up.

Kyle Busch will start on the pole since his No.18 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota team is atop the Nationwide owner point standings.

Ryan Newman, driving the No.33 Chevrolet for Kevin Harvick Inc., will start alongside Busch on the outside pole.

Carl Edwards will roll off third, followed by Joey Logano and Erik Darnell.

Sixth through 10th will be: Matt Kenseth, Jason Leffler, Brad Keselowski, Jeff Burton and Brian Vickers.

Dennis Setzer, Paul Menard, Derrike Cope and Justin Hobgood did not make the field.

Tonight's race is schedule to start around 7:30 p.m. (et).

Best I saw was 2.5/1 on kyle. Debating.

Field is up to 14/1 and down to 11 drivers. Might be worth it

Your better off giving the money you use for the field bet to this guy.

Pretty pissed indeed especially since the odds were so fucking low. But he paid me 5/2 and 7/1 last weekend so I'm not too mad.

It would be been great about 5 laps earlier when Darnell was behind him because I took the field against your suggestion at 14/1

The VIP books use to have the Nationwide races listed as " driver to finish highest",I wish books would do it this way for the races and just leave Busch out to make the race a better race to bet.

I'm putting 500 down on each.
Tony Stewart 12 to 1
Mark Martin 24 to 1

Stewart's best races have been at the larger ovals and call it a hunch, Martin is looking to put an exclamation "mark" on the contract he signed with Hendrick M.S. to race the 2010 entire season. A win would satisfy the critics stating his time has come and passed.

As for the field bet at 15:1 through my bookie, it is like throwing money out the window. With the exception of Logano who is going to race in a 3 time winning car there (Hamlin in '06 & '07 and Stewart in '08), I don't see much good in this bet.
