Formula 1 Odds: 2010 Australian Grand Prix – Vettel Favored
The 2010 Formula 1 season returns to action this Sunday in Melbourne, Australia for the 2010 Australian Grand Prix.
The race will be held at Melbourne Grand Prix Circuit and Sebastian Vettel is favored to win the event.
Vettel has 15/8 odds to win according to the online sports book SPORTSBETTING.com. Other short odds to win are Fernando Alonso (2/1) and Felipe Massa (9/2)
Vettel finished 13th in last year’s race but he ended up second in the series standings in 2009. In the lone race of the 2010 season, Vettel finished fourth.
Alonso won the season opening race and he is the pre-season favorite to win the season standings. Alonso won this event in 2006 and finished fifth in last year’s event.
Massa finished 16th in last year’s race and 11th in the season standings a year ago. Massa took second in the opening race of the season.
