2013 IndyCar Firestone 550 Odds To Win: Hinchcliffe and Andretti Favored

FORT WORTH, TX (TheSpread) – The 2013 IndyCar Series will drive under the lights on Saturday for the running of the Firestone 550. Here is a look at the odds to win this race.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, James Hinchcliffe and Marco Andretti are the favorites to win this race, as each have 5/1 odds. Other short odds to win are Helio Castroneves and Ryan Hunter-Reay, who each have 6/1 odds.
Hinchcliffe has never won this event. He placed fourth last year and outside the top 10 in the 2011 races. He currently sits ninth in the point standings, but had two wins on the year.
Andretti has never won this event. He placed 17th in last year’s race and outside the top 5 in the two races in 2011. Andretti is winless on the year, but is tied for the point standings.
Castroneves won this event in 2004, 2006 and 2009. He is currently winless on the season, but is tied with Andretti for the IndyCar points lead.
Hunter-Reay has never won this event, placing 21st last year and placing outside the top 5 in the two races in 2011. He has one win on the year and sits third in the point standings, 15 points out of first place.
