Missouri-Illinois Dodge Dealers 250 From Gateway
The NASCAR Nationwide Series takes the race track on Saturday, July 18 for the Missouri-Illinois Dodge Dealers 250 at Gateway International Raceway in Madison, Ill.
Current Nationwide points leader and five-time 2009 Nationwide winner Kyle Busch opens as the strong favorite to win the event.

Busch has opened as a 3/2 favorite to win Saturday’s event, according to oddsmakers from online sports book Sports Interaction. Other drivers receiving short odds for Friday’s race are Carl Edwards (7/2), Kevin Harvick (9/2), and Brad Keselowski (6/1).
Busch has had plenty of success on the Nationwide series this year as he lead the points standings by 192 points and has finished in the top 10 in 15-of-18 races. Busch’s worst finish on the season was 39th, but after that, he has placed no worse than 17th.
Edwards has had success at Gateway International Raceway, winning last year’s Missouri-Illinois Dodge Dealers 250 and the 2006 Gateway International 250. Edwards has finished in the top 6 in his last four Nationwide races, including a win in the NorthernTool.com 250 on June 20. Positioning has been a big factor for Edwards, as he hasn’t started worse than 11th in any race this season.
Harvick also has had success at Gateway International Raceway, as he won the 2000 & 2001 events. Harvick has only competed in 11 Nationwide events this year, but finished in the top 5 in six of those races. Like Edwards, Harvick hasn’t started a race in worse than 13th place.
Keselowski ranks third in the Nationwide standings thanks to nine top 5 finishes and 12 top 10 finishes in 2009. While just owning one win on the year, Keselowski did string together five-straight races at third or better.
