By ATSSportsline.com
TALLADEGA, AL (ATS Consultants) - The fourth race of the Chase for the Sprint Cup heads to the Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama for the Good Sam 500 on Sunday. This is know as the "wildcard" race in the Chase for the Cup. Last year, seven of the twelve Chasers finished the race in the bottom half of the running order.
Matt Kenseth 10-1
He has had the fastest car in all three races here. He has one win, 10- top fives, 16 top 10s and one pole this year. At Talledga, he has four top fives and seven top 10s. His average finish is 18.6 in 25 races. He has the fourth-best average running position of 15.3.
Brad Keselowski 12-1
He has two wins at Talladega. In May, Keselowski won what many thought was the impossible. He has seven Talladega races under his belt and has finished in the top 10 in five of them. He had a nice fourth place finish here in 2011. The points leader needs to stay out of trouble early and then make his move to the front late in the race.
Long Shot
Juan Pablo Montoya 50-1
Juan Pablo Montoya and Jamie McMurray dropped to the back on cue at the start at Talladega in May like usual but around the mid point they raced to the front. He still wrecked even with his different game plan though. Montoya has three top three finishes at Talladega but all of his other finishes are 15th or worse. In the last seven Talladega races he's scored the 7th most points.
