NASCAR Free Picks & Predictions – Good Sam 500

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series moves on to Phoenix today for the Good Sam 500. Here are some drivers we think can contend.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Kevin Harvick is favored to win today’s race, as he has 6/1 odds. Other short odds to win are Kyle Busch (13/2), Jimmie Johnson (7/1) and Joey Logano (7/1). The Good Sam 500 takes place today at 3:44PM ET from Phoenix International Raceway in Avondale, AZ.
Kevin Harvick is the favorite for a reason today. He has seven wins in his career at this track and a driver rating of 109.9, which ranks second in the field. He starts 18th today but should work up the field quickly and contend for the win.
Denny Hamlin has 12/1 odds to win today and he starts near the front in third position. Hamlin is a former winner at the track and has an average finish of 11.4 there. His driver rating at Phoenix is 95.1, which ranks sixth amongst today’s drivers. Look for Hamlin to push for a win today.
Kyle Larson is a dark horse to consider today as he has 25/1 odds. His driver rating at Phoenix is 88.3, which ranks 10th in the field. While he hasn’t won at the track he does have a top-10 finish and will start seventh. After a few bad showings the last two weeks, look for Larson to make an aggressive run at today’s title, knowing that this is a track he could potentially win at.
