NASCAR Free Picks & Predictions – Kobalt 400

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series moves on to Las Vegas today for the Kobalt 400. Here are some drivers we think can contend.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Kevin Harvick is favored to win this race, as he is getting odds of +425 to win. Other short odds to get the victory are Jimmie Johnson (+525), Joey Logano (+600) and Kyle Busch (+650). The Kobalt 400 takes place today at 3:46 PM ET from Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Las Vegas.
Jimmie Johnson is coming off a win last week and now he heads to another track where he has done very well at. Johnson is a four-time winner at Las Vegas and he has the best driver rating of anyone in the field at 111.9. Look for him to make a strong run at a win, coming from the 11th position.
Kyle Busch also has great numbers at this track. His 103.4 driver rating at Las Vegas is the second-best in the field behind Johnson. Busch is a former winner at Las Vegas as well and he starts 23rd, but that shouldn’t be an issue for him. Expect another strong run from him today with 13/2 odds.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. hasn’t won at Las Vegas, but he does have solid numbers at the track, which means today could be the day he breaks through. His driver rating at Vegas is 94.4 and his average finish is 13.0. He has 12/1 odds to win today and we like him as our dark horse to come out with the victory.
