CLERMONT, Ind. - Fresh off his USAC Silver Crown win, Bobby East was able to capture his first NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series pole with a lap of 108.602 mph on Friday at O'Reilly Raceway Park.
Tonight East wll make his 29th career Truck Series start and second at ORP.
Jack Sprague posted the second-fastest lap at 22.760 seconds, 108.506 mph.
Erik Darnell (third) posted his fifth top-10 start this season. He has started from the top-10 in all three of his starts at ORP.
Colin Braun (108.316 mph, 22.800 seconds) was the fastest qualifying rookie starting in fourth position.
All 13 races at ORP have been won from a top-five starting position, five from the pole.
