2013 World Series Odds To Win: Red Sox favored to beat the Cardinals

(TheSpread) – The 2013 World Series matchup is set. Here is a look at the odds to win this year’s series.
The 2013 World Series features the Boston Red Sox facing the St. Louis Cardinals. According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Red Sox are the favorite to win this best-of-7 series, as they have odds of -135, while the Cardinals have been given a money line of +115 to prevail.
The Cardinals advanced to the World Series thanks to a 4-2 series win over the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NLCS, while the Red Sox disposed of the Detroit Tigers in six games in the ALCS.
These two didn’t meet this season and Boston will have the home-field advantage for the series, due to the A.L. winning the All-Star Game. Boston went 97-65 during the regular season, including a 53-28 record at home and a 44-37 mark on the road. St. Louis also went 97-65 during the season. The Cardinals were 54-27 at home and 43-38 on the road.
