2014 ALDS Tigers vs. Orioles Game 1 Picks & Predictions

BALTIMORE, MD (ATS Consultants) – Game 1 of the ALDS between the Tigers and Orioles is tonight at 5:30PM ET and Baltimore represents value as an underdog.

ODDS: According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Tigers are -114 money line favorites over the Orioles, who are +105 money line underdogs. The total, meanwhile, is currently sitting at 7 runs.

LINE MOVEMENT: The Tigers opened as -123 money line favorites but their odds have dropped to -115, while the Orioles’ odds have gone from +114 down to +106. The total opened at 7.5 but dropped to 7 at most online and Vegas sports books.

PITCHING MATCHUP: Max Scherzer will take the hill for the Tigers sporting an 18-5 record and owns a 3.15 ERA, while the Orioles will counter with Chris Tillman, who is 13-6 with a 3.34 ERA. Baltimore won the AL East with a 96-66 record while Detroit won the Central at 90-72.

MLB FREE PICK: Take Baltimore. According to latest MLB trends, the Orioles are 4-0 in Tillman’s last four starts versus the Tigers and 4-0 in his last four starts as a home underdog.
