-Justin Morneau, Twins, led off the ninth inning with a home run off Brian Stokes to lift Minnesota over Tampa Bay 3-2.
-Jay Gibbons, Orioles, drove in Brian Roberts with two outs in the 10th inning, giving Baltimore a 2-1 victory over Kansas City.
-Travis Hafner, Indians, hit a three-run homer in the eighth inning to lift Cleveland over the Angels 4-2.
-Brandon Inge, Tigers, homered and drove in three runs in a 5-4 win over Toronto.
WALK-OFF
Justin Morneau led off the ninth inning with a home run off Brian Stokes to lift the Minnesota Twins over the Tampa Bay Devil Rays 3-2 Thursday night. It was Morneau's third homer this season and Minnesota's first game-ending homer since Jason Kubel's 12th-inning grand slam on June 13 against Boston.
SNAPPED
Ronnie Belliard hit a go-ahead single in the eighth inning off John Smoltz, and Washington beat the Atlanta Braves 2-0 Thursday night to stop a six-game losing streak. Their only previous win was April 4, when Dmitri Young hit a game-ending single that capped a three-run ninth inning in a 7-6 victory over visiting Florida.
REDEMPTION
Jay Gibbons atoned for an earlier missed opportunity by driving in Brian Roberts with two outs in the 10th inning, giving the Baltimore Orioles a 2-1 victory over the Kansas City Royals on Thursday night. Gibbons, who fouled out with two runners on base in the eighth, lined an opposite-field single to left with the bases loaded in the 10th off Jason Standridge (0-1).
GREYBEARDS
Tom Glavine emerged from the oldest matchup of left-handed starters in major league history with his 292nd win. Other than a pair of Jimmy Rollins homers, Glavine pretty much shut down the Phillies in a 5-3 victory over Philadelphia and Jamie Moyer on Thursday night. Moyer and Glavine hooked up in the oldest matchup of lefty starters (85 years, 163 days) in major league history, according to the Elias Sports Bureau. The Yankees' Tommy John and White Sox pitcher Jerry Reuss on May 2, 1988, were the previous record holders (83 years, 299 days).

More arm problems for Prior

MESA, Ariz. -- Cubs pitcher Mark Prior had discomfort in his right shoulder and left his first extended spring training start after two innings Thursday.
Belmont.com lists the Cubs at +600 to win the NL Pennant.
Prior was limited to nine games last season by shoulder problems and pitched only 10 1-3 innings in spring training. The Cubs said Prior is scheduled to visit orthopedic specialist Dr. Lewis Yocum in California for further evaluation.
Prior was optioned to Triple-A Iowa at the end of spring training, then put on the minor league team's disabled list.
A 18-game winner in 2003, Prior has been plagued by injuries the last three seasons.
Mets demote OF Milledge; Pelfrey to start on Friday

Flushing, NY (Sports Network) - The New York Mets demoted outfielder Lastings Milledge to Triple-A New Orleans after Thursday's 5-3 win over Philadelphia and promoted pitcher Mike Pelfrey.
Pelfrey, who went 2-1 with a 5.43 earned run average in four starts last season for New York, is scheduled to start Friday against Washington. He had won the fifth starting job in the spring training but spent time at New Orleans because the Mets didn't need a fifth starter.
The Mets also announced that pitcher Juan Padilla will undergo surgery on his right elbow on Friday to repair a partial tear of his flexor tendon. The operation will be performed at the Hospital for Special Surgery in Manhattan.
Indians revise Saturday night game with White Sox to day game
CLEVELAND (AP) – The Cleveland Indians have rescheduled Saturday’s night game against the White Sox to an afternoon game due to concerns about weather, the club said Thursday.
The new start is 1:05 p.m., moving the start time by 6 hours.
Cold and snow prevented the Indians from playing their first home series of the season, a four-game stint with the Seattle Mariners. The next series, a three-game set with the Los Angeles Angels, was moved to the enclosed Miller Park in Milwaukee.
Cleveland hopes to play all three games with the Sox this weekend, beginning tonight, although conditions will be cold and most likely wet.
“As we continue to battle the weather here in the early part of April, the shifting of Saturday’s game time to a 1:05 p.m. [EDT] start was done to accommodate our fans who have been incredibly patient and understanding,” said Paul Dolan, Indians president.
Fans unable to attend the day game Saturday will be able to exchange their tickets for any Indians regular season home game during the 2007 season, subject to availability.
