HONDO

September 26, 2007 -- Hondo barked up the right tree with his 'dog show last night as he scored with the Braves and survived with the Nats and saw his earnings skyrocket to 235 torgesons.

Tonight, it's Blanton and the A's in Boston, and, if that clicks, Peavy and the Pods in San Fran. Ten units apiece.

John Ryan

Ai Simulator 3* graded play on Baltimore - Despite losing a 5* MONSTER play on SF, the complete Tuesday card made $5777 wagering just *100 per * unit play. Atlanta was a +113 3* winner over Philadelphia, 3* Colorado won in upset fashion installed as a +120 dog , and 3* Florida kept the Cubs at bay for at least another day with their win installed as a +126 dog. Plus, the DOUBLE DOG MAJOR card was Florida and Colorado, so if you parlayed them together you really had a great night. Through this daily grind my complete MLB selections, including the 3* Member plays, you would have made $8770 wagering just $100 per * unit play. Supporting this graded play is a system that has gone 42-30 and has made +49.1 units since 1997. Play against all favorites with a money line of -175 to -250 starting a pitcher who gave up = 7.50 over his last 3 starts. Roy Halladay gets to make his final start of the 2007 season. He is 15-4 with a 2.79 ERA in 25 career games, including 21 starts versus Baltimore, the only club he's defeated more than 11 times. I mention this only as an example that sometimes the MLB selection can be quite contrarian and in not other sport can you accurately state that anything can and will happen. Upon further review, the right-hander, though, is 0-5 despite a 3.56 ERA over nine road starts since June 30, as he's received an average of just 2.90 runs from his offense. Pitching at New York on Friday, he took a shutout into the ninth but wound up coming one out short of a complete game and allowing four runs, only one of them earned. The Blue Jays won the contest 5-4 in 14.Baltimores bullpen has not been and is certainly struggling right now as well. TORONTO is 10-16 (-11.7 Units) against the money line vs. a terrible bullpen whose ERA is 5.50 or worse over the last 2 seasons. Take the Orioles.

Jeff Bonds | MLB Total
double-dime LOS / 963 COL Over 7.5
Analysis:
Los Angeles Dodgers starter Brad Penny simply hasn't been on top of his game since the end of August and his struggles will likely continue against a potent Colorado Rockies lineup.
There's also been at least seven runs scored over his last four home games - which puts us right on the mark for this total.

Another advantage for the Rockies offense, is the fact they just saw Penny five days ago and knocked out three home runs against him. This is definitely worrysome for Penny - considering he's only allowed nine home runs all year.

The OVER is 24-9 in Penny's last 33 home games and 7-1 in the Dodgers last eight during game 1 of a series.

Colorado's Ubaldo Jimenez has allowed 13 earned runs over his last 27 innings and has struggled with his control - walking 12 batters over his last four starts
The OVER is 9-3 in the Rockies last 12 games overall and 6-1 in Jiimenez's last seven starts versus a team with a winning record.

With both teams fighting for a playoff spot - expect both offenses to come out swinging.....We're getting tremendous value tonight.

Great Lakes

MLB Selection:
LA Angels at Texas 2:05PM EST Play on: LA Angels with Saunders

The Angels are 36-20 the last three years vs the Rangers, 30-23 vs division opponents this year, and 28-21 when playing in day games this year, they are also 75-45 vs right hand starting pitching this year. We look for the LA Angels to grab the road win today.
