We expect both offenses to struggle in this game. We’re hearing the Bears starting QB Trubisky has been very inconsistent during camp. The Chicago coaches are not thrilled with his performance thus far. He won’t play much, if at all, but we don’t expect much from the offense when he is in the game. After Trubisky the Bears will send out Chase Daniel and Tyler Bray under center. They’ll be facing a Carolina defense that was uncharacteristically poor last year ranking 20th in total defense. The Panthers had ranked in the top 10 in total defense 4 of the previous 5 seasons so we expect a big bounce back from them starting on Thursday. The Bears head coach Matt Nagy played his starters very sparingly in last year’s pre-season and we expect the same. Defensively Chicago is very good and they are deep so the back-ups should perform well. They’ve adapted very well to new defensive coordinator Chuck Pagano and we look for them to play very well right out of the gate. They should limit a Carolina offense that will be playing without starting QB Cam Newton who will sit out this game. That leaves Kyle Allen, Will Grier, and Tyler Heinicke as the 3 QB’s that will get time for Carolina. They’ve thrown a combined 89 career passes. This is one of the highest totals on the board and we feel that is undeservedly so. We look for the defenses to dominate this game in a low scoring affair. Take the UNDER in this one.

Washington Redskins want to get the taste of last season out of their mouths and what better way to do that then get a win in Cleveland. The Browns will be going with Drew Stanton but how much will they actually play him I think we will see a lot of Garret Gilbert and David Blough. Washington will be playing a lot of the talented rookie Dwayne Haskins who comes in as the third string QB so I expect him to be pushing hard. Case Keenum is listed as the number 2 I think you will see him a ton as well. Look for the RedSkins to want this win more and we will lay the money line here in the preseason.
