Game Analysis
The Wimbledon Finals Selection is on Roger Federer +3 games at 9:30 eastern. 8 Time Champ Roger Federer will try and take out the #1 seed Novak Djokovic who has won the last 3 in the series but is only 2-1 vs Federer on grass and these two have played very tight matches. FED IS 32-4 of late and the Joker 28-6. Federer took down Nadal here gaining revenge for his French Open Finals loss and for the 2008 Wimbledon final in what many feel was the greatest match ever played. The Fact that Fed beat Nadal in 4 sets and did not have to play 5 grueling sets will help his recovery effort here at 37 years old. Rogers has not had a tough tournament and has breezed through mainly due to his excellent serve. He should have enough in the tank should this go the expected 5 sets. Novak Djokovic beat Bautista in the Semis in 4 sets and has been basically wearing down his opponents. He may do the same today but will face the toughest test yet, it will be interesting to see if he can raise his game against lesser opponents. He may very well win here but he can be beat and Federer has what it takes to do it. We will take Federer on the Game line at +3. RV

It's hard to imagine the vaunted New York lineup not hitting and scoring runs, but that is the case coming out of the break, as the Yankees plated 4 runs on Friday night, and just 1 run on Saturday afternoon. Their opponents the Toronto Blue Jays were blanked on Friday, and pushed across only 2 runs on Saturday.
The result is a pair of Unders as we head into this Sunday finale which features Marcus Stroman and Masahiro Tanaka, and a 3rd Under for the weekend sweep I feel is in order.
6 of the last 9 series meetings between the division-rivals have played Under the total. Toronto comes in having held Under the total in 5 straight, while New York has seen the Under cash in each of their last 4, and 6 of their last 8 overall.
Marcus Stroman has seen the Under cash in in 2 of his last 3 starts, and his season ERA away from home this season stands at just 2.76. Meanwhile, Masahiro Tanaka's ERA at Yankee Stadium is just 2.84 for the season, with 5 of his 9 starts in the Bronx this season holding Under the total.
Offenses have been quiet this weekend, and I don't think it changes on Sunday.
Blue Jays and Yankees Under the total.
4* TORONTO-N.Y. YANKEES UNDER

Sunday comp play is the same as my Saturday comp play, and that is to play Minnesota and Cleveland Under the total for the third time in as many games.
These teams have combined to score 8 runs in both meetings this weekend, and both have held just Under the total.
Minnesota has now held Under the total in each of their last 3 games, and in 5 of their last 7 overall. Yesterday's Under pushed the series mark between the teams to 13-5-1 Under the total in their last 19 meetings.
Jose Berrios will work against Shane Bieber in the series finale, and Berrios has seen the Under go 3-0-1 over his last 4 starts, while Bieber has made 18 starts this season with the Under standing at 13-4-1!
Both pitchers sport winning numbers against the others team, as Berrios stands at 5-2 with a 3.71 ERA in his work against the Tribe, while Bieber is 2-0 with an ERA of 4.05 for his career against the Twins.
Stay the course today, and play the Under.
2* MINNESOTA-CLEVELAND UNDER

Tigers vs. Royals
Royals-144
The Detroit Tigers have lost five straight, including the first two games of the series. I think another loss is in the cards for the Tigers here with Jordan Zimmermann (0-6, 6.29 ERA) on the mound. Zimmerman is still in search for his first win in 2019 and was seven runs on 13 hits in 3 1/3 innings against the Boston Red Sox last time out.
The Royals hand the ball to right-hander Homer Bailey (7-6, 4.80 ERA) who gave up two runs on six hits in five innings against Cleveland last time out. Baily is 2-1 with a 2.36 ERA in four career starts against the Tigers after holding them scoreless through six innings last month.
The Royals have won four of the last five meetings overall and six of the last seven matchups home at Kauffman Stadium.
Free pick on Kansas City Royals.

Dodgers vs. Red Sox
Red Sox+100
My free play is on the Bos Red Sox at 7:05 ET. The Los Angeles Dodgers owned MLB's best record coming out of the All Star break, while the defending champion Boston Red Sox found themselves NINE games back of the Yankees in the AL East plus two games out of the second AL wild card spot. The teams opened the second half of the 2019 season with a three-game series at Fenway, a rematch of the 2018 World Series which Boston won in five games. The Red Sox beat the Dodgers 8-1 on Friday night but LA finally found its offense at Fenway Park Saturday night. The Dodgers had scored just six runs in losing Games 1 and 2 of the World Series at Fenway Park last October, then lost 8-1 Friday while getting just five hits. However, LA hit four HRs among its 14 hits in Saturday's 11-2 triumph. The 61-33 Dodgers remain comfortably ahead in the NL West (13 1/2 game lead), while the loss snapped a five-game winning streak for the 50-42 Red Sox, who continue to lag behind the Tampa Bay Rays, Oakland A's and Cleveland Indians in the wild-card race, while chasing (futilely?) the Yankees in the AL East. The rubber match of this three-game set is featured on ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball, as Hyun-Jin Ryu (10-2, 1.73 ERA) takes on David Price (7-2, 3.24 ERA). Ryu owns the best ERA in the majors and started the All-Star Game for the National League on Tuesday, allowing one hit in a scoreless inning before handing the ball off to teammate Clayton Kershaw. Ryu is a perfect 7-0 at home in nine starts this season (LA is 9-0), posting an 0.85 ERA and 0.71 WHIP. He hasn't exactly been 'lit up' on the road but the Dodgers are just 3-5 in his away starts (-$428 vs the moneyline). Price, a postseason bust for his career, earned the win over Ryu in Game 2 of the 2018 World Series and then picked up the victory in the Game 5 clincher while allowing one run and three hits in seven innings. He hasn't been perfect in 2019 but he also hasn't lost since April 27 (a span of 11 outings). Price takes the mound 5-0 over his last seven starts (team is 6-1), with just one poor outing in that span. He allowed six ERs vs Texas on June 13 but the Red Sox would win, 7-6. In the other six starts in that span, Price owns a 2.36 ERA. Price's last loss (April 27) was a 2-1 defeat in which he allowed two ERs over six innings. The veteran lefty opened the season allowing four ERs in his first two starts but has since allowed two ERs or less in 12 of his 14 starts, that June 13th one vs Texas (see above) and a May 2nd start vs the White Sox, when he allowed three ERs in six innings. I'll back Price here vs Ryu. Good luck...Larry

My complimentary winner is on the over in the Toronto-New York game, as we should plenty of offensive fireworks with the Blue Jays and Yankees.
MAKE NOTE: All Run Line/Total plays automatically list pitchers with the starters who are scheduled to go at the time of the wager, and I want you to be sure the following pitchers are the starters of record on your ticket when making your play: Marcus Stroman and Masahiro Tanaka. If one or both of these pitchers is not going, this is a no-play.
Stroman was Toronto's lone All-Star, and today he returns to the mound for the series finale against a team that has hit respectable against him during his career.
The right-hander could throw tenderly here, as he left his last start with a left shoulder pectoral cramp. If he pitches cautiously, he could leave one or two hanging, and make critical mistakes in the zone. There's no doubt he can hit the corners, but the velo won't be any threatening.
The 28-year-old right-hander has a 4.21 ERA over 16 starts and 87 2/3 innings against the Yankees, and today they'll chase him early.
Meanwhile, Tanaka steps to the hill after becoming the first Yankees pitcher to earn an All-Star Game victory since Vic Raschi did it way back in 1948. Not that he was spent, or overused - he's had four days off - but he could be poised for a letdown here, and will find himself in a slugfest.
The Blue Jays already got to him once, as Tanaka took the loss last month, on June 4 in Toronto, where he gave up four runs across six innings.
Both pitchers will falter and this one will soar.
3* OVER Blue Jays-Yankees

My free play for is on the Cleveland Indians over the Minnesota Twins, and I want you listing both pitchers who are slated to take the mound: Shane Bieber and Jose Berrios.
Prior to the All-Star break, Bieber delivered a sterling outing with eight solid innings on Saturday in Cincinnati, just one day after he was named to the All-Star roster. The right-hander allowed two runs on four hits with eight strikeouts. Now he steps to the hill with monumental confidence, as he's 2-0 in his career against the Twins, with a 4.05 ERA in five appearances, four of them starts.
With a lot on the line in this series, and the Indians need to gain ground, Bieber will have his best stuff working.
And his offense should have his back, as Berrios will be due for a letdown here after he twirled a scoreless inning in the All-Star Game for the second straight year. I know the Twins have beaten the Indians in both of Berrios' starts this season, but now Cleveland's hitters can avenge those setbacks with a critical win here.
Take the home team and list both.
4* INDIANS (Bieber over Berrios)

My free play for Sunday is on the later card, as we're going to make money with the Oakland Athletics on the run line against the Chicago White Sox.
IMPORTANT: As you know every single Run Line play and Total wager will automatically list the scheduled starting pitchers at the time of the wager, and I want you to be sure the following pitchers are the registered starters on your ticket when making your wager: Reynaldo Lopez and Brett Anderson . If one or both of these pitchers is not going, this is a no-play.
This is a no-brainer here, as Anderson ended the first half on a roll, having allowed three earned runs or fewer in eight of his last nine starts. Now the left-hander puts his 9-5 mark and 3.86 ERA on the line against a lineup he should be able to neutralize with an effective arsenal that tends to keep hitters off balance.
Anderson is 1-1 with a 4.55 ERA in five career starts against the White Sox, and tonight will be one of his better starts against the Pale House.
Oakland will be able to get to Lopez, who is a dismal 4-8 this season with a baseball's highest ERA at 6.34 ERA. Though it's true he's been working on his mechanics over the break, this is one of the scrappiest lineups in baseball, and a team that could very well sneak into the postseason with a wild-card berth.
The Athletics are going to be dangerous these last few months, and part of it is their skilled offense. Lay the run line with them tonight.
2* ATHLETICS RUN LINE (Anderson over Lopez)

Braves vs. Padres
1* Free MLB Pick on San Diego Padres +129
I really like the value here with the Padres as a home dog against the Braves. San Diego is coming off a tough loss on Saturday where they blew a late lead and eventually lost in extra innings.
Braves starter Mike Soroka has a strong 2.42 ERA and 1.052 WHIP in 15 starts, but he struggled going into the break. He posted a 4.15 ERA and 1.462 WHIP in his last 3 starts. Padres will counter with Joey Lucchesi, who is 6-2 with a 2.76 ERA and 1.040 WHIP in 10 home starts. No way should the Padres be a dog here. Take San Diego!

Jack’s Free Pick Sunday: Philadelphia Phillies -107
The Philadelphia Phillies will be highly motivated for a victory at home Sunday against the Washington Nationals. They have lost the first two games of this series to the Nationals and certainly want to avoid the sweep by picking up a win in Game 3.
Jake Arrieta has allowed 3 earned runs or fewer in six of his last seven starts against the Nationals. Anibal Sanchez is 5-11 with a 4.49 ERA and 1.472 WHIP in 23 career starts against the Phillies.
Philadelphia is 23-9 in its last 32 games vs. a starter with a WHIP greater than 1.30. The Phillies are 5-1 in Arrieta’s last six starts during Game 3 of a series. Bet the Phillies Sunday.
