ATLANTA -125
ATLANTA @ COLORADO | 4/10 | 1:10 PM MDT
Something's wrong with the Rockies' offense, and Braves starter Kevin Gausman can take advantage. He mowed through the Marlins in his opener (7 innings, 2 hits). He didn't face the Rockies last year but was great on the road overall. The Braves' offense, which scored 15 runs in the first two games of this series against Colorado's top pitchers, now gets call-up Jeff Hoffman for a spot start. Hoffman wasn't overly impressive in spring and last year had just one start, giving up three runs in three innings. This Braves lineup has just 12 career at-bats against him, but six went for hits with four home runs.
L.A. DODGERS -132
L.A. DODGERS @ ST. LOUIS | 4/11 | 11:15 AM MDT
The Cardinals have beaten the Dodgers in the first three games of this series, but numbers suggest L.A. salvages at least one win in St. Louis this afternoon. The Dodgers' offense has struggled this series, but against Michael Wacha its lineup is a lifetime .361 against him. Plus, L.A. bats have fared far better in day games, hitting .317, or more than 100 points better than the Cards under the sun. Walker Buehler dominated the Cards in two starts last year, allowing no runs and just six total hits with 18 strikeouts.

CHI. CUBS -134
PITTSBURGH @ CHI. CUBS | 4/11 | 6:05 PM MDT
The Pirates bounced back from an embarrassing 10-0 loss to beat the Cubs on Wednesday. But my projections like Chicago to win the rubber match with Jose Quintana on the mound. The Cubs win nearly two-thirds of my computer simulations. With an implied probability that puts the money line at -178, getting the Cubs at this price is a real value.
BOSTON -200
TORONTO @ BOSTON | 4/11 | 5:10 PM MDT
My numbers see the struggling Red Sox getting back on track with a win Thursday against the Blue Jays. I've got Boston winning in nearly 75 percent of simulations, making it worth laying the thick price. The Red Sox have won their last four started by Nathan Eovaldi, while the Blue Jays are 2-10 in their last 12 trips to Boston.
SAN FRANCISCO +105
COLORADO @ SAN FRANCISCO | 4/11 | 7:45 PM MDT
My numbers see the Giants taking down the Rockies nearly 60 percent of the time in their Thursday meeting, providing a massive value spot on the slight home underdog. Colorado has won eight of the past 10 in this series, but my data says the Giants are undervalued versus the sportsbook odds they are being assigned.

DBacks -110 over Padres
DBacks/Padres Over 8.5 runs
Godley/Avila
Pedro Avila will make his big league debut tonight while Zach Godley is nothing really to write home about. I like our odds that one of these teams will score 9 runs themselves. Avila just has not had much work against quality talent as he only had one start at the AA level. In the lower leagues this guy has struggled with control which I don’t expect him to correct at this level just yet. This is a scenario too good to pass up where I am confident we will at least get one of them picks to cash as the worst case scenario. Hopefully Arizona can get out of the gates quick on the youngster. Take the DBacks and the Over. (No parlays.)
