This is basically a pick 'em game. But my projections don't see it that way. The Penguins win more than 60 percent of my computer simulations, a big number for a game that Vegas is calling a toss-up. Jump on Pittsburgh while there's still big value.

The Knicks have something good going with Mario Hezonja at the point. He's averaged 25 points, 10.3 rebounds and seven assists over his past three games. The Bulls have been horrific at home, covering six of their last 27 at United Center. Play the small road dog.

This seems like a big number, considering the Lakers have won six of nine. But I'll bet they fall back to earth after their stunning performance versus the Jazz. Portland can lock up the No. 4 seed with a win. CJ McCollum should be better in his second game back, and the Trail Blazers come in on an 11-4 ATS run on the road. Lay it.

Something's wrong with the Rockies' offense, and Braves starter Kevin Gausman can take advantage. He mowed through the Marlins in his opener (7 innings, 2 hits). He didn't face the Rockies last year but was great on the road overall. The Braves' offense, which scored 15 runs in the first two games of this series against Colorado's top pitchers, now gets call-up Jeff Hoffman for a spot start. Hoffman wasn't overly impressive in spring and last year had just one start, giving up three runs in three innings. This Braves lineup has just 12 career at-bats against him, but six went for hits with four home runs.

Trevor Bauer has allowed one hit through 14 innings this season, and Wednesday he faces a Tigers team batting a league-worst .185. Bauer last year against Detroit was otherworldly -- he was 4-0 in four starters with 40 strikeouts and four runs allowed over 29.1 innings. Cleveland's offense isn't much better than Detroit's, though it averages about one run more per game and has been better against left-handed pitching. Tiger starter Matthew Boyd is averaging more than two K's per inning, but the Indians' have won five in a row and are gaining confidence.

Heath Fillmyer is being called up to start for the Royals -- he was torched in his one minor-league start. He'll face a Mariners batting lineup that's basically leads the league in every important category. If he gets shelled again, the Royals' bullpen with its 8.07 ERA takes over. Seattle's Yusei Kikuchi has been hit or miss through three starts, but he's backed by a solid bullpen and should have a lead to work with. Kansas City is hitting .194 against left-handed pitching so far.

The Spurs could still finish anywhere from the 6-8 seed in the West, and they face a Mavericks team that used all its energy to give Dirk Nowitzki a memorable send-off at home Tuesday night. But this is a ton of points. If the Spurs get up big and get up quick, Greg Popovich will call off the dogs and rest his key players, and the Mavs can get a back-door cover.

Portland can leapfrog Houston for the No. 3 seed, and that's quite a motivator in the West. The Blazers are playing great ball right now, while the Kings are on 2-5 overall and ATS slides and aren't playing for playoff or draft positioning. Portland should take care of things quickly as Sacramento plays as if it's trying to end the season without injury.

The ball was flying out of the park last night. The Angels put up 6 runs in the first inning and held on to win the game after the Brewers made a nice comeback. Mike Trout will miss tonight’s game, but there is plenty of power in this line up. The Brewers also have power and will be looking to make up for that bad first inning yesterday. There were a ton of runs with the wind blowing out. There were even runs that didn’t score on great defensive plays. I believe with the same weather patterns this game will be instant offense from opening pitch. Take the Over.
