MLB | Indians vs Marlins
Play on: Indians -177 at 5dimes

Play - Cleveland Indians w/Bauer (Game 973).

Edges - Indians: Bauer 1.99 ERA with 1.03 WHIP this season … Marlins: Alcantara: 2-7 last nine overall team-starts, and 5.21 ERA with 1.32 WHIP home this season … With Miami 4-14 in its last 18 games against AL Central foes, including 1-6 the last 7 games in this series, we recommend a 1* play on Cleveland. Thank you and good luck as always..

NHL | Bruins vs Blue Jackets
Play on: OVER 5½ +111

Ricky's 1* Free Play on the over Bruins/Blue Jackets.

Boston won Game 1 of this second round series 3-2 in OT, before the Blue Jackets returned the favor in an identical 3-2 victory in double OT in Game 2. With the shift in venue, I believe Game 3 sets up as more of an offensive affair.

Key Trends:

- Boston has seen the total go over the number in 19 of its last 31 in trying to revenge a loss vs. an opponent.

- Columbus has seen the total go over the number in four of its last five home games following an OT road victory.

The verdict: Columbus was actually better on the road (25-14-2) than at home (22-17-2) this season. CBJ’ net minder Sergei Bobrovsky was 18-13-1 with a 2.73 GAA at home. Columbus was dominant at home in its four game series sweep of the Lightning though, winning 3-1 and 7-3. Boston on the other hand was better at home (29-9-2) than on the road (20-15-6) this season. Goaltender Tuukka Rask was 12-7-3 with a 2.65 GAA on the road. Boston lost its first game in Toronto in the first round, only to recover and win the following two by scores of 6-4 and 4-2. In my opinion, Game 3 sets up as a “shootout” finally!

MLB | Blue Jays vs Angels
Play on: Blue Jays +133 at BetOnline

The set-up: Since 20 year old Vladimir Guerrero Jr. joined the line-up, the Jays have gone 3-0. Toronto sends veteran Clay Buchholz to the mound in this one and the home side turns to rookie Griffin Cannin, who makes his major league debut tonight.

The pitchers: Buchholz (0-1, 4.60 ERA) gave up four runs over five innings in a loss to San Francisco on Wednesday. He was 7-2 with a 2.01 ERA while with Arizona last year.

Canning has given up just one earned run over three starts in Triple-A, posting a 17:1 K:BB.

The pick: Note that Toronto is already 5-2 (+4.7 units) as a road dog in the +105 to +150 range, while LA is just 7-14 in all “night” games. I think Buchholz is the correct call here. Consider the visitors.

The Blue Jackets accomplished a split at Boston. Back on home ice, I expect them to be at their best for a pivotal Game 3. The Jackets dominated Tampa in the two games here in the first round. They outscored the Lightning by a 10-4 margin in those games. Going back a bit further finds that they've won seven of their past eight here. The Jackets are 40-21 (+11.2) the past 2+ seasons, when playing with two day's rest in between games. Consider Columbus.

Reds are a .500 team at best but Luis Castillo will be money all year as I see him being a Cy Young contender. Jason Vargas despite his last two starts is a very weak starter and a guy the Reds can hit. Luis is 3-1 with a 1.23 ERA and that is pitching in a hitter friendly park. Lay the juice today.

Reds are 6-1 in their last 7 vs. National League East.
Reds are 5-1 in Castillos last 6 starts after scoring 5 runs or more in their previous game.
Road team is 8-2 in Meals' last 10 games behind home plate.

Invest 9 units on the Reds Rotation #953

Tuesday comp play is Under the total in the Rockets-Warriors game.

These teams could only combine for 204 total points in Game One on Sunday at Oracle Arena, as the game held well Under the posted price of 224 points.

That marked the 3rd straight meeting between the teams that has landed Under the total, as the Under for the year is 4-1 when the Rockets and the Warriors meet.

Dating back to the playoffs last season, these teams have landed Under the total in 9 of their last 10 showdowns, with the Under 5-1 the last 6 meetings at Oracle Arena.

Houston has now played 5 of their 6 playoff games Under the total, and they are on an overall 6-1 Under run their last 7 games played since the regular campaign.

Golden State has split their last 10 games overall, with 5 landing Over and 5 landing Under.

Until we actually see an Over between these teams - and both are certainly capable of lighting up the scoreboard - I think you keep riding the Under until the Over actually materializes.

Rockets-Warriors Under in Game Two.

3* HOUSTON-GOLDEN STATE UNDER

Houston and Golden State delivered a gem, and in the end the Warriors had enough to hold off the Rockets, 104-100 in a game that saw Houston cover as the +5 1/2 point underdog.

James Harden, Chris Paul and Mike D'Antoni all voiced their concerns over fouls they felt were not called against Golden State. The Harden three-point shot in the closing seconds was the straw that broke the camels back, and Paul even picked up a second technical in the closing seconds and was ejected from the contest!

I am not going to get into a debate over how the refs called the contest, but I do think that it is now in Houston's head that they are NOT going to get the calls - at least not at Oracle Arena - and I think that here in Game Two we will see the Dubs not only win this game here on Tuesday, but cover it as well.

Both Steph Curry and Klay Thompson are dealing with ankle sprains, but when you have a guy like Kevin Durant on your side, things tend to get a little easier. Durant made it 5 straight postseason games with over 30 points scored - he had 35 -, as he played 43 minutes in the Sunday victory.

Draymond Green stepped up big on Sunday with 14 points, 9 boards and 9 assists, while on the Houston side, Harden did net 35 points, but he did not shoot it particularly well, as he was just 9-of-28 overall, and only 4-for-16 from behind the arc. The frontcourt combo of Clint Capela and P.J. Tucker could only muster a combined 4 points on a 1-for-6 shooting day! Perhaps that upper respiratory issue is lingering a little longer than Capela is letting on?

I still feel we are in for a long series, but I think Golden State is heading to Houston up 2 games to none. Lay it tonight with the Warriors.

4* GOLDEN STATE
