Play - Detroit Tigers w/Boyd vs Skaggs (Game 972).

Edges - Tigers: Boyd 4-0 last four home team-starts during May, and 2.70 ERA with 0.95 wHIP at home this season … Angels: Skaggs 2-6 last eight away team-starts during May … With Boyd in strong KW form with 21 Ks and 4 BBs his last three starts, we recommend a 1* strong play on Detroit. Thank you and good luck as always.

I'm on an 11-2 run with free plays and tonight I look to make it 12 of 14 with the New York Yankees over the Seattle Mariners.

We're headed to the Boogie Down for this one, as the Yankees are going to keep rolling, and will topple the struggling Mariners, who have been awful since their surprising start to the season.

I mean, it's odd to say, but for the first time this season the M's have dropped to a .500 team, and it's just a bad time for them to be on the East coast. Since winning 13 of their first 15 games, the Mariners are mired in a 6-17 skid.

And it's real simple to decipher, as they're just not getting the clutch offense they once were, as we saw last night in the Bronx, were they were 2-for-11 with runners in scoring position. During this 23-game slide, Seattle has dropped 12 games by three runs or fewer because they can't manufacture runs like it was doing in its first 15.

Meanwhile, the Yankees are building momentum as they head toward their weekend showdown with first-place Tampa Bay.

New York (21-14) is sitting two games back of the Rays, and rolls into this one with the league's fourth-most wins after a 15-5 spurt thanks to an offense that ranks seventh in the league with a .258 batting average.

And speaking of clutch hitting, how good is DJ LeMahieu? He's been as consistent as any other hitter in the league, registering a .471 batting average, going 16-for-34 during a nine-game hitting streak while hitting .330 overall. Then there's Gary Sanchez, who leads the team with 11 home runs and has 21 RBIs. And over New York's last 10 games, Luke Voit is 13-for-38 with a double, three home runs and 11 RBIs.

Don't bother listing pitchers, as this one comes down to the momentum of two teams heading in opposite directions.

Take the Yankees in this one.

4* YANKEES

MLB | Nationals vs Brewers
Play on: Brewers -1½ +108 at Pinnacle

10* FREE MLB PICK (Brewers -1.5, +108)

I'll take my chances on Milwaukee not only winning, but winning by at least 2 runs. I also feel the risk/reward is a lot better here at even money on the run line than laying a big number for just 1-run. I just think if the game goes as planned, there's a really high chance they do so by more than 1.

Milwaukee has won 5 straight and are now 15-8 on their home field this season. After giving up 11 runs in back-to-back games, Brewers have held their opponent to 3 or fewer in all 5 during the winning streak. Milwaukee is a dangerous team when they get the pitching to back that high-powered offense.

Nationals failed to score a run in last night's 6-0 defeat. Washington's offense has scored 3 or fewer in 8 of their last 9. I'm pretty confident Brandon Woodruff and the Brewers pen can keep them in check.

Nationals are going to send out Jeremy Hellickson, who has made 5 starts and owns a poor 5.04 ERA and 1.480 WHIP. He's also trending in the wrong direction with a 8.10 ERA and 1.575 WHIP in his last 3 starts. Give me the Brewers -1.5 (+108)!

NHL | Avalanche vs Sharks
Play on: UNDER 5½ +104

In addition to being ON FIRE with his premium plays, Ben Burns is a PERFECT 6-0 with this month's complimentary selections. Here, Ben gives you the winning O/U call for the big Game 7 showdown at the Shark Tank. We saw a low-scoring Game 7 at St. Louis last night and this should be another relatively low-scoring affair. While Game 6 at Colorado was high-scoring, the last game here at SJ finished with a score of 2-1. The 'Under' is 47-35, excluding pushes, the last 2+ seasons when the Sharks were off a game where they allowed four or more goals. Consider the Under.
