This time around manager Kapler brings talented RHP Nola (2.27) to the hill who will oppose lefty Anderson of the Brewers. Milwaukee shows 1-4 L5 Sunday starts by Anderson. Although the Phillies have performed fairly well against lefties this season, we must approach this with caution. They do bring a 4-0 record with Nola of late so, just make this a light play. Sunday's comp play is to lay whatever it is you have to lay with the Yankees on the Run Line to sweep away the Rays.
It is another "bullpen day" for Kevin Cash's team, but does it really matter who starts for Tampa Bay today!?!?!
I mean, with yesterday's 4-1 loss, the Rays have now lost all 5 this year to the Yankees, and 8 of the last 9 played in this A.L. East rivalry. Tampa is also just 4-18 their last 22 games played in the Bronx.
Yesterday's win for the Yankees puts them at 13-3 their last 16 games, including 8 wins their last 10 times on the diamond.
CC Sabathia has returned to form from his little "lull", and the portly southpaw has won his last pair of starts, working 12-plus innings with just 2 earned runs allowed.
Again, does it matter who starts for the Rays?!?!?
This Yankees team is so far ahead of this Tampa team that I would go so far as to lay -2 1/2 runs on the Bronx Bombers today if I had to.

Over, over, and more over. I have learned in this business that when a team is blowing as hot as the defending champion Houston Astros are, a guy named Brad Keller is NOT going to slow down their "hit parade".
Houston put up a 10-spot on Saturday in winning their 10th game in a row, and they have been Over the total in 8 of those 10 games won, as the Astros have been able to score 7 runs or better in 8 of their 10 wins, and overall, the Astros have gone Over the total in 12 of their last 14 games contested.
Kansas City is not nearly as offensive, as they have sputtered with no more than 3 runs plated in any of their last 10 games played, but if they can get 2 or 3 today off of Lance McCullers, then I expect we will see another Over with the Astros doing the bulk of the scoring.
Lance McCullers does own a rather high 3.83 season ERA, and it's even higher on the road at 5.08. Each of his last pair of starts, and 3 of his last 4 have landed Over the total, so let's stick with those trends, and the slugging of the 'Stros and play Sunday's series finale to land Over the posted price.

I like the value here with Baltimore on the -1.5 run line against the Marlins. The Orioles have lost 9 straight overall and a 11 in a row at home. As bad as it's been for Baltimore, I like them to snap the losing streak on Sunday and avoid getting swept at home by Miami.
For me this one comes down to starting pitching and the big edge the Orioles have with Dylan Bundy facing off against Trevor Richards. Bundy has a solid 3.66 ERA and 1.195 WHIP in 14 starts and is red-hot with a 1.29 ERA and 1.048 WHIP in his last 3 starts. Richards on the other hand is 1-3 with a 4.41 ERA and 1.384 WHIP in 7 starts and 0-2 with a 5.71 ERA and 1.788 WHIP in 4 road starts. Take Baltimore -1.5!

The Texas Rangers are just 1-7 in their last eight games overall. They got a rare win yesterday to end their losing streak, but now I look for the Rockies to win this series and take Game 3 Sunday.
Jone Gray has been better outside the hitter-friendly confines of Coors Field. He is 3-4 with a 4.93 ERA in seven road starts this season. He has never faced the Rangers, and that element of surprise should would in his favor today.
Yovani Gallardo will be making his first start of the season for the Rangers today. He has spent his time at the Triple A level after a terrible 2017 season. Gallardo has never beaten the Rockies, going 0-6 with a 6.63 ERA and 1.748 WHIP in 11 career starts against them.
The Rockies are 8-3 in their last 11 interleague road games vs. a right-handed starter. The Rangers are 10-26 in their last 36 home games vs. a right-handed starter. Texas is 2-11 in its last 13 after allowing 2 runs or less in its previous game. Bet the Rockies Sunday.

Reds will turn to Anthony Desclafani, who has a 5.40 ERA and 1.900 WHIP in his first 2 starts of 2018.
