Both games in Las Vegas held Under the total, and that includes the second game which went into double-overtime before it was decided. Sunday's game pushed the closing total of 5 goals, but with the Kings winning 1-0 entering the third period, a case can be made that the game should have also held Under the total.
With just 3 goals in the series, hard to count on Los Angeles helping push tonight's fourth game Over the total, that is for sure. Series numbers show the Under is 5-0-2 in the 7 career series meetings between these Pacific Division rivals.
Dating back to the regular season, the Kings are 6-3-1 Under the total in their last 10 games played. Going to look for that Under trend for Los Angeles to continue here.

I'm recommending a play on the UNDER in Tuesday's MLB action that has the A's hosting the White Sox. These two teams combined for 9 runs in Oakland's 8-1 win yesterday, which eclipsed the total set of 8.5. What will get overlooked is that game was 2-0 going into the bottom of the 7th before the A's scored 3 times and added another 3 insurance runs in the 8th.
I don't see Oakland having another big offensive outburst tonight. The A's aren't a dynamic offensive team and have often struggled to put together back-to-back strong offensive nights. I know White Sox starter Miguel Gonzalez doesn't have great numbers in his 2 starts, but he should have his best stuff on 8-days of rest.
At the same time, Chicago's offense is in a major funk. The White Sox have scored 2 or fewer runs in each of their last 3 and 5 of their last 7 games. Trevor Cahill is getting the call up from the minors to make this start and the former A's All-Star should be able to keep Chicago in check. Take the UNDER!

Early indications are Shohei Ohtani is the real thing - both pitching and hitting. But there's too much value not to take this price against him. Boston has the best record in baseball. The Red Sox are 13-1 in their last 14 games. Ohtani has made only two big league starts - both against Oakland. He's batting .367 with three homers in 33 at bats. He didn't look good during spring training, though. The Red Sox aren't exactly throwing chopped liver against him. Former All-Star David Price will be on the mound for Boston. Price has looked good in two of his three appearances this season being on the comeback trail. His one bad outing was against the Yankees in cold weather. His other two starts were against the Rays where he didn't allow a run in 14 innings. The Angels rely on Mike Trout and he's 3-for-21 lifetime against Price with 10 strikeouts. Boston ranks second in runs scored and has the third-lowest ERA. I trust the Red Sox bullpen, especially their closer, more than the Angels' relief pitchers. Mookie Betts is expected to play, too, after suffering a bruised foot on Saturday.

Detroit won five out of the previous eight H2H duels, but Baltimore won six out of the last eight at the Comerica Park, and after all we saw thus far in the season, this is a highly unpredictable matchup. The Tigers have just one home win in this campaign and although Baltimore played very well against the Yankees.
The key in this game is the total! Both pitchers have struggled against these hot batters. I like the Orioles 5-4. Lay the money on the over.

I'll take my chances here with the Nationals as a short road favorite against the Mets. Washington went into the final 2 innings of yesterday's game trailing 6-1, but after scoring 7 runs in the Top of the 8th and another in the 9th, they pulled out a shocking 8-6 win.
That's the kind of defeat that can really take the life out of a team and New York is going to regress at some point soon. Given the spot and the fact that the Nationals have Gio Gonzalez on the mound, makes this an easy play for me.
Gonzalez has a 2.20 ERA over his first 3 starts, but what I really like is how he's dominated the Mets. Gonzalez is 14-5 with a 2.88 ERA and 1.142 WHIP in 24 career starts against NY. In comparison, Mets starter, Zack Wheeler, is 2-7 with a 4.52 ERA and 1.422 WHIP in 10 career starts against Washington. Give me the Nationals -122!

We should have a great game here at Angel Stadium of Anaheim Tuesday night with the Boston Red Sox and LA Angels owning the top two records in the American League.
The Halos will hand the ball to their Japanese rookie sensation Shohei Ohtani (2-0, 2.08 ERA). Ohtani has been terrific in his first two starts in the big leagues, but this could be a difficult spot as he was scheduled to start on the mound on Sunday, a game that was postponed because of freezing temperatures in Kansas City. Note that the Angels are just 2-12 in their last 14 games following an off day.
The Red Sox turn to David Price (1-1, 2.40 ERA) who left his last start after one inning on Wednesday because of numbness in his pitching hand, but the southpaw should be good to go here. "I told (manager Alex Cora) I was fine for Monday, or I could come back on Saturday or Sunday, go sit in the pen if needed," Price told WEEI on Friday.
I think the Halos are overrated by the bookmakers here. Take the extra run on the visitors in what should be a close game.
