Your Tuesday freebie is the Rockies over the Giants.

Colorado grabbed the series opener, 6-5 in extra-innings yesterday, as the Rockies have gained control in the N.L. West by winning their last pair of games, and 3 of their last 4 on this current home stand.

San Francisco continues to sputter on this road swing, as the loss on Monday was the Giants 5th in 6 games now away from AT&T Park.

Jeff Samardzija appears to just be filling a spot in the rotation, as the Shark has lost his bite! Samardzija is 0-1 - team has lost all 3 - in his last 3 starts, and has an ERA near 6. Included is a 6-plus innings effort with 3 runs allowed in a no decision at home against Colorado.

Kyle Freeland is 2-1 with a 1.86 ERA for his last 3 starts, including 6-plus innings of 1-run ball in a win at San Francisco.

Have to lay it with the Rockies who are starting to elevate their game.

4* COLORADO

Tuesday's comp play is for the offense to continue to blossom in the White Sox-Indians meeting.

The runs have really been piling up on this home stand for the Indians, as they have played all 5 thus far Over the total, and the Over has gone 7-2 over the Tribe's last 9 games played.

The White Sox have a little Over run brewing as well, as yesterday's 15 combined runs with the Indians made it a 4-1-1 Over roll for Chicago their last 6 times on the diamond.

Pale Hose hurler Lucas Giolito has been lit up more often than not as evidenced by his season ERA of 7.53. As for Indians pitcher Mike Clevinger, hit ERA has been on the rise, as his last 3 starts show an ERA of 4.66.

With the Over 22-7-1 in the Indians last 30 games, my money will be on another one of their games to play Over the posted price.

4* WHITE SOX-INDIANS OVER

Play - Washington Nationals w/Hellickson (Game 979).

Edges - Nationals: Hellickson 4-0 last four team starts during May; and 22Ks with 2 BBs last four overall starts … Orioles: 1-6 home in Game Two of a series this season… We recommend a 1* play on Washington. Thank you and good luck as always.

Play on: Cardinals -102 at YouWager
Game Analysis

#MLB FREE PICK FROM MIKE LUNDIN

The St. Louis Cardinals took an 8-3 beating in the opener of this three-game series with NL Central rivals Milwaukee Brewers on Monday, but I think the Cards will bounce back tonight with Michael Wacha on the mound.

Wacha (5-1, 2.88 ERA) held the Royals to two runs (one earned) with six Ks through 6 2/3 innings last time out and has limited opponents to two runs or less over his last seven starts, posting a 1.94 ERA during that stretch. Wacha is 4-0 with a 4.60 ERA against the Brewers who counter with Zach Davies.

Davies (2-4, 4.74 ERA) surrendered seven runs (six earned) on eight hits over 5 2/3 innings against the Cardinals back in April and will make just his second start since spending nearly a month on the disabled list with a rotator cuff injury. Davies was tagged with four runs over four innings of work and took the loss last week against the Mets.

Brewers are 2-8 in Davies' last 10 home starts vs. a team with a winning record. Cardinals are 7-2 in Wachas last 9 starts.

Free pick on St. Louis Cardinals.

Chicago White Sox vs. Cleveland Indians (MLB) - May 29, 2018 6:10 PM EDT
Play: Point Spread: -1.5/-120 Cleveland Indians Pick Title: TUesday Comp play
Michael Brantley is a very good player - he is big and has power at 6-2, and can rip the ball, as he has 8 HRs on the season through the 5.28.2018 period. Chicago cant hit well enough to be a serious threat on the road, here - and Yolmer Sanchez is too inconsistent to be a problem to pitch around. Chicago doesn't have a lot of refinement to their game, and they have stretches where they have been solid on the offensive side of the ball, but they also can go opposite quickly, as they tend to lose the game where scoring gets abundant. Chicago has had some issues putting up the runs with their usual offense, with just 3 games scoring 5+ over the last 10. The demise of their bats has been stunning - they need to get their guys some better bats before this season is too far gone. Chicago are just not playing real good baseball right now. White Sox are 1-5 in their last 6 vs. American League Central. Cleveland wins by 2 or more runs.

Play: Money Line: -164 Seattle Mariners Pick Title: Cajun Sports MLB 3* Complimentary System POD
The Texas Rangers are in the Pacific Northwest playing a four-game set against the Seattle Mariners with Game Two set for Tuesday night. The Mariners are 6-0 SU (+600) as a home favorite their last six in this situation. Seattle has done a nice job handling chalk overall they are 93-51 SU (+2141) as a favorite since the 16 campaign. We want to play AGAINST MLB road underdogs when seeking immediate revenge for a loss in which they allowed six or fewer hits. This system has a record of 119-276 SU (+8198). With significant support for the Mariners and King Felix we are going to lay the chalk with Seattle in Game Two on Tuesday night. Cajun Sports has a documented MLB record of 39-22-1 SU (64%) (+10734) at the Sports Watch Monitor. MLB | Nationals vs Orioles
Play on: Nationals +114 at pinnacle

Jack’s Free Pick Tuesday: Washington Nationals +114

The Washington Nationals should not be underdogs to the Baltimore Orioles today. The Nationals have gone 19-6 in their last 25 games overall, including winning six of their last seven coming in. The Orioles are 17-37 this season and one of the worst teams in baseball.

Jeremy Hellickson has been one of the most underrated starters in the big leagues thus far in 2018. He has gone 1-0 with a 2.13 ERA and 0.895 WHIP in seven starts, including 1-0 with a 1.06 ERA and 0.706 WHIP in his last three. Hellickson is 8-4 with a 3.33 ERA and 1.130 WHIP in 17 career starts against Baltimore as well.

Dylan Bundy is getting way too much respect from oddsmakers tonight. Bundy is 3-6 with a 4.45 ERA in 11 starts this season, including 2-3 with a 4.83 ERA in six home starts. He is coming off a complete game in which he allowed 3 earned runs while striking out 14 against the White Sox. I can’t help but believe he’s going to be fatigued after that taxing effort last time out.

Washington is 14-3 in road games against right-handed starters this season. Baltimore is 1-12 after scoring 4 runs or less in three straight games this season. The Nationals are 11-1 in their last 12 road games. Washington is 4-0 in Hellickson’s last four starts. The Orioles are 1-10 in their last 11 interleague games. Bet the Nationals Tuesday.

Dave’s Tuesday Free Play:

1* on Astros/Yankees OVER 9

The Key: C.C. Sabathia has come back down to earth in his last 3 starts, going 0-1 with an 8.78 ERA and 1.950 WHIP. He is in line to get rocked against a hot Houston lineup that has scored 54 runs in its last 7 games overall. Charlie Morton is having a solid season, but he gave up 7 earned runs in 3 2/3 innings in his last start at Yankee Stadium. The Yankees will do plenty of damage against him as well. The Astros are 43-19 OVER in their last 62 road games with a total set of 9 to 9.5 runs. The Yankees are 21-11 OVER against right-handed starters this season. Take the OVER.

MLB | Marlins vs Padres
Play on: Marlins +142 at BMaker

The Padres can't be this strong of a favorite against any team especially when facing an opponent's top pitcher. That's the case here.

Dan Straily is back healthy. The Marlins are 5-0 in his five starts this season. Straily has given up two or fewer runs in each of his last four starts. Opposing hitters are batting just .204 against him. The Padres rank 29th in runs and 28th in batting average. They have been held to three or fewer runs in six of their last seven games and are 6-14 during their past 20 games at Petco Park when facing a righthanded starter. San Diego is minus its best hitter, injured Wil Myers. The Padres lack any kind of punch without him. Also on the DL is Frenchy Cordero, who was supplying some needed power and speed. Tyson Ross has been a pleasant surprise for the Padres providing a nice comeback story. But he's not better than Straily and certainly doesn't deserve to be rated as such a high favorite. The Marlins hold the Padres' number, too, having beaten them six times in a row.

1 Unit FREE PLAY on San Diego Padres -148

The Padres are 7-3 in games that Tyson Ross starts this season, including 3-0 in his three starts at Petco Park. Ross is 4-3 with a 3.28 ERA and 1.18 WHIP in those 10 starts while striking out 64 in 60 1/3 innings. He is also 1-1 with a 2.84 ERA and 1.11 WHIP in two previous starts against the Marlins. Miami is 13-28 in its last 41 road games. The Marlins are 3-13 int heir last 16 after scoring five runs or more in their previous game. The Padres are 8-1 in Ross’ last nine starts on five days of rest. Give me the Padres.

MLB | Twins vs Royals
Play on: Twins -125 at BMaker

10* FREE MLB PICK (Twins -125)

I'll take my chances here with Minnesota as a short road favorite against the Royals on Tuesday. The Twins won the series opener 8-5 on Memorial Day, snapping a 4-game skid. The 8 runs Minnesota put up yesterday was more than their previous 4 games combined (6). Danny Duffy will take the mound for the Royals. He's coming off a great start at Texas, but I simply don't trust him to keep it going. Duffy is still just 2-6 with a 6.14 ERA in 11 starts and owns an awful 6.98 ERA and 1.707 WHIP in 4 home starts. On the flip side of this, Minnesota will send out Kyle Gibson, who has pitched better of late and owns a strong 2.61 ERA and 0.903 WHIP in 5 road starts. Gibson is also 12-3 in his last 15 road starts vs a team that averages or more strikeouts/game and 9-1 in his last 10 road starts vs a team that walks 3 or fewer times per game. Give me the Twins -125!
