Luis Severino has definitely come back down to Earth after pitching like an ace early in the season. In his last 8 starts, he's given up more than 2 runs 7 times while allowing 32 runs, 9 home runs, and 10 walks. On the other side, Dylan Bundy is a mess in this mess of a season for Baltimore. Bundy has allowed 7 runs in each of his last 3 starts and that includes 6 home runs. The Bombers will feast on Bundy and Severino will give up a few to help this game go Over. Take The OVER.

Jack’s Free Pick Sunday: Chicago White Sox -108
The Chicago White Sox are playing some very good baseball here down the stretch. They are 8-3 in their last 11 games overall as their prospects are getting a chance to shine. The Tigers have gone the other direction, going just 3-8 in their last 11 games overall.
One of the top pitching prospects in baseball takes the ball for the White Sox tonight. Michael Kopech made his MLB debut on August 21st but had it cut short due to rain. He struck out 4 batters in 2 innings without allowing a run. Now he should be extended tonight to see what he can really do against a soft Detroit lineup.
Jordan Zimmerman is 6-5 with a 4.28 ERA in 18 starts for the Tigers this season. But Zimmerman does not enjoy facing the White Sox as he has posted a 6.29 ERA and 1.500 WHIP in 11 career starts against them. He is 0-1 with a 10.05 ERA in three starts against Chicago in 2018, giving up 16 earned runs in 14 1/3 innings.
The White Sox are 5-1 in their last six road games. The Tigers are 17-40 in their last 57 games overall. Detroit is 5-12 in Zimmerman’s last 17 home starts. Chicago is 4-1 in the last five meetings. Bet the White Sox Sunday.

This play just missed out on our premium card. The St, Louis Cardinals got blown out on Saturday night but this is a good spot to bounce back.
Austin Gomber is on the mound and he has been good this year coming into this game with an ERA of 2.98.
I expect he will keep the team in it and they will pull it out in the end.
Back the Cardinals

The Dream have home loss revenge here a role in which they are 6-1 straight up in. Atlanta has covered 15 of 19 after allowing 75 or more and 15 of 18 vs teams who allow 77 or more points per game. When playing off a win they are 7-2. The Dream are 5-1 in conference finals play. Washington is just 1-5 in the conference finals and 1-4 straight up as a road dog of 3 or less. Look for Atlanta to take this one

White Sox vs. Tigers
White Sox-112
The Chicago White Sox dropped the opener of this four-game series, but they've bounced back with a pair of triumphs to make it eight wins their last 11 games. The Tigers have scored a combined four runs in the last two games and here they'll face talented rookie right-hander Michael Kopech (0-0, 0.00 ERA) who had his major leagues debut shortened by a rain delay. Still, he managed to hold Minnesota scoreless on three hits with four Ks on 52 pitches.
The Tigers hand the ball to right-hander Jordan Zimmermann (6-5, 4.18 ERA) who hasn't fared well against the White Sox in three starts this season, getting knocked around to the tune of 16 runs (15 earned) through 14 1/3 innings of work. Zimmermann is 5-3 with a 6.14 ERA in 11 career starts against the White Sox.
Tigers are 5-12 in Zimmermann's last 17 home starts and he owns a 5.86 ERA in 11 day starts on the season opposed a 1.83 ERA in seven starts under the lights.

Sunday comp play will be the Nationals and the Mets to hold Under the total.
No mystery here, as Washington has now played 3 straight games without crossing home plate!
Obviously, all 3 of those game have landed Under the total.
It may not be Tanner Roark and Zack Wheeler on the mound today, but with 3 in a row, and 5 of the last 7 series meetings having landed Under the total, I will take my chances with Jefry Rodriguez and Steven Matz figuring things out this afternoon at Citi Field.
The last time Matz started against the Nats, Washington wound up winning the game 25-4. Suffice it to say Matz is seeking some big-time redemption.
Go with Washington and New York to play one more Under here on Sunday.

My free play for Sunday has to be on the Toronto Blue Jays, a home underdog versus the Philadelphia Phillies. I'm not listing pitchers, either, as it won't be necessary.
After a dominant performance by Thomas Pannone, Ryan Tepera and Joe Biagini on Wednesday, when they combined on a two-hitter in a 6-0 win over Baltimore, the Jays had Thursday night off to prepare for a tough series with Philadelphia.
The Blue Jays responded well, and took the first two games of this series by scores of 4-2 and 8-6.
Philadelphia is struggling terribly right now, having lost 11 of 16. Over their last 12 games, the Phillies' staff has a sky-high ERA of more than 5 and the team has been outscored by 30 runs.
This is a good spot for the Jays to keep their five-game win streak going, and potentially extend it to six with a series sweep. Take the home pup.
1* BLUE JAYS

Sunday comp play release is the Phillies to salvage their series against the Blue Jays.
Philadelphia has lost their way of late, as they enter this series finale at the Rogers Centre having dropped 6 of their last 7 games, and they are dangerously close to drifting off the pace in the N.L, East standings if they don't turn things around ASAP.
Toronto has won all 5 games on this current homestand, as they go for the sweep today, but I am going to play against said sweep, as Marco Estrada and Vince Velasquez will head to the mound.
Neither pitcher has been sharp in their last few trips to the rubber, but I will side with Velasquez to give his club what they need today as they avoid the ugly sweep north of the border.
They haven't been winning all that often of late, but they win today.
Take the Phils.
3* PHILADELPHIA

A's vs. Twins
A's-105
Berrios the Twins hurler today pitched through a 52-minute rain delay vs. the White Sox on Tuesday, going 5 innings and giving up just 1 run on 4 hits. However, in his previous two starts, he allowed 8 runs (7 earned) in 7 2/3 combined innings and according to my pitcher vs offence power rankings does not matchup well vs the As 9.
Twins are 1-5 in Berrios' last 6 starts vs. a team with a winning record.Athletics are 4-1 in the last 5 meetings.
OAKLAND is 16-2 against the money line when playing against a team with a losing record in the second half of the season this season. MINNESOTA is 8-24 against the money line in home games vs. a team with a good bullpen that converts on 75%+ of their save opportunities over the last 2 seasons
The Athletics are 14-0 L/14 on the moneyline in the last game of a series after a game as a road favorite in which they had 12+ hits and it is post All-Star break.
Play on the Oakland As to win on the moneyline

Seattle Sounders FC vs. Portland Timbers
Draw+250
This is a Free #MLS play on the Draw The Portland Timbers have lost three straight, conceding a whopping nine goals in those matches. They will be the favorites tonight at home versus a Seattle Sounders squad that is riding high with five straight wins. That might prompt a more conservative approach from the home team, and this game could be a defensive battle. Seattle comes in tied for first in goals against, allowing just 26 goals total this season. Portland is also among the top defensive teams in the MLS, ranking 7th in the league in goals against. The Timbers have won the last two meetings, both of those games decided by just one goal. Prior to that these teams had played consecutive draws (2-2 and 2-1). I believe tonight's game has "draw" written all over it! Take the Draw. GL,
Jesse Schule

Event: (977) Texas Rangers at (978) San Francisco Giants
Sport/League: MLB
Date/Time: August 26, 2018 4PM EDT
Play: San Francisco Giants -149
Texas right-hander Yovani Gallardo toes the rubber with a 6.06 ERA, 1.57 WHIP, 5.22 xFIP and a 5.15 xFIP in fourteen appearances this season (11 starts), a span of 62.1 innings of work. The soft-tosser lacks overpowering stuff (5.63 K/9), struggles to find the strike zone (4.33 BB/9) and is giving up too much hard contact (36.1%).
San Francisco outfielder Andrew McCutchen has victimized Gallardo throughout his career, going 19-for-55 (.345) with three doubles, two triples and four home runs off the veteran hurler. Gallardo has really struggled away from home this season where he owns a 7.66 ERA, 1.79 WHIP, 5.35 FIP and a 5.67 xFIP across 22.1 innings.
Finally, San Francisco is a profitable 6-0 in Derek Holland's last six starts versus teams with a losing record, 6-1 in his previous seven outings during game 3 of a series and 4-1 in his last four home starts. I also like the fact that the Giants are 14-6 in the last 20 meetings in this series, including 10-3 in the last thirteen clashes at AT&T Park.
Take San Francisco and invest with confidence.

My free play is an underdog longshot, as I love the Kansas City Royals against the Cleveland Indians - for a second straight day.
I told you I was not concerned and was not scared to take the huge underdog at Kauffman Stadium last night, even against Corey Kluber. The Royals won, 7-1.
The Indians come into the contest with a 12-game lead over the Twins in the American League Central, and one thing that has concerned me with the Tribe is how lax the team is getting at times. Complacency has no place in baseball, but the Indians have lost four in a row, and could be overlooking a Royals team that has nothing to lose.
The Royals won Friday's contest 5-4, and have now outscored the Tribe 12-5 the last two nights.
Salvador Perez has 22 home runs and 64 RBIs on the season for the Royals. Alex Gordon has stolen three bases and scored five runs over his past 10 games for Kansas City.
I'll take a shot with the home pup here, after all, this is a freebie. My real play is on the early card, between the Nationals and Mets.
2* ROYALS

IMPORTANT: As you know every single Run Line play and Total wager will automatically list the scheduled starting pitchers at the time of the wager. But with this game I am not concerned with who is pitching for either team tonight and want you playing this game on the Run Line regardless. That said, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to be sure you have action even if one of the pitchers scheduled to start is scratched, by betting the game over again in the event that takes place.
We're sorry, but due to technical difficulty, there is no analysis for today's comp game.

Right when we're about to bury Seattle, the Mariners seem to revive, as they did two weeks ago when sweeping a 4-game set at Houston. They're a game away from sweeping all three this weekend at Chase Field, and Mike Leake, with a 2.17 ERA in his last three starts, all Seattle wins, has been faring a bit better than Zack Greinke, who's allowed 7 runs over 12 1/2 IP in his last two starts and has lost three of his last four outings. Play Mariners

10* FREE MLB PICK (BREWERS -129)
I'll take my chances here with the Brewers at home in Sunday's series finale against the Pirates. While Pittsburgh won yesterday's matchup 9-1, the Pirates are just 3-9 in their last 12 overall. I simply don't trust this team on the road, especially with Chris Archer on the mound. Archer has a ton of potential, but he's simply not been that great in 2018 . He's got a 4.50 ERA and 1.357 WHIP in his last 3 starts. I could see him getting rocked for 4 or more in this one. Milwaukee will send out Chase Anderson, who is coming off a great start at home against the Reds, allowing just 2 run on 2 hits in 6 innings. Give me the Brewers -129!

Michael Kopech is highly touted and will supposedly be the player that take the White Sox to the promised land. He pitched two scoreless innings in his debut vs. Minnesota in his rain-shortened debut. His Pale Hose are hot, 8-3 L11 while the Tigers has called it a season and are 3-8 L11 while simply playing out the string. You have to pick your spots with bad teams but this is one.
