Los Angeles Dodgers -120
Over the last 30-days Bud Norris has ranked as the 7th best pitcher, with an e-ERA (expected ERA) of 2.8. By comparison, Corbin ranks 152nd (out of 165) over the same time-span with a 5.9 e-ERA. His ERA against the Dodgers has been under-3 this year, but allowing 13 hits and walking 4 batters in 12.1 innings, should have produced a few more runs than that (~ 36% of runners score long-term so ERA should have been closer to 4.5). His SIERA of 6.3 and 4.2 in those two appearances, indicates to me that he wasn’t as ‘dominant’ as the ERA numbers indicate. Dodgers are a top-10 offense against a ‘slider’, a pitch that Corbin relies upon, and I like the chances of a strong offensive showing off of him tonight. Throw in the fact that LA has a superior BP advantage, and I love this play.

Giants TT Over 4.5
The Padres send out SP Cashner this evening. These SF Giants have had good success vs him. They have a combined (.319 AVG) and a (.847 OPS) vs him. Cashner has not been good this season, sporting a very high (5.40 ERA) & he got smacked around in 2 outings vs these SFG earlier this season. I do expect this Giants lineup to get to him eventually & then we get into that poor San Diego bullpen for the remainder of the game. I also like the fact that we have the visiting club here, so we're assured of getting 9 innings of at-bats. The bottom line for me here, is that I like these SF Giants to plate at least 5 runs before this game goes final on Friday evening.
