The Giants are in the midst of a six-game losing streak, but we’ll call for end to that bad run tonight as they catch a break and get to face RA Dickey. Knuckleballers are very streaky and right now Dickey is in a serious funk, with a 7.27 ERA is his last three starts. Meanwhile, the Giants turn to ace Johnny Cueto, the kind of guy you call on when you need to stop a losing streak. Cueto gets plenty of run support tonight to get the Giants back on the winning track.

The Cubs are great against left handed pitching and the Padres are not. The Cubs have the better starter and a better bullpen. The Padres have gotten the better of the Cubbies the last few games so I expect this is the game where the tide shifts and Chicago gets a huge win.
