AARON TOLLER
New York Yankees -123
Free play to get this Saturday started on the diamond is play the New York Yankees. Sabathia has struggled of late but I see the all star break giving him a chance to refresh and comeback with a strong outing today at home versus Boston. Rodriguez has not shown me anything to date and the Yankees maybe able to pile on some runs early.

White Sox vs. Angels
Play: Angels -145
The White Sox have been blanked in their last 2 games prior to and following the All-Star Break. It's hard to back a team that can't put runs on the board. The Angels needed this break to determine where they stand at this point of the season in terms of selling assets or snapping out their inconsistent ways to realize that they are chalk full of talent and they can go as far as they want to. The 7-0 win yesterday sparks confidence and they should be able to grab another one today. Chicago is 2-7 in their last 9 games that fall on a Saturday. They are also 1-9 in their last 10 games played against the Angels in Anaheim. Matt Shoemaker has only given up 4 runs in his last 5 starts with over 35 innings of work that includes 3 shutouts. James Shields has picked up production but it still having a season to forget since being traded to the White Sox as he holds a 4-10, 5.42 ERA. I'm backing the Angels to win again today.

Baltimore Orioles vs. Tampa Bay Rays
Play: Baltimore Orioles -136
The O's are flying high at the top of the AL East, and they took Game 1 of this series in Tampa by a score of 4-3 last night. The last place Rays will have to contend with Baltimore's ace tonight, and I will go right back to the well with another play on the Orioles. Chris Tillman will toe the slab for Baltimore, and he's having the best season of his career. Tillman (12-2, 3.41 ERA) allowed one run on three hits over seven innings in a 4-2 win over the Angels his last time out. He's 2-0 with a 3.78 ERA in three starts versus Tampa this season. The Rays hand the ball to Matt Moore, who has been roughed up by Baltimore in two previous starts. Moore (5-6, 4.46 ERA) surrendered eight runs on 10 hits over 13 2/3 innings, losing twice to the Orioles. The Rays rank dead last in the American League in runs scored, and they went into the All Star break with a team batting average of .240.
