Not afraid to lay a little wood with a Arizona squad that has been money at home. D-Backs are now 33-13 at home this season and tonight’s starter, Taijuan Walker, has been red hot winning his last five straight starts easily. Cincinnati has been awful of the road of late losing 24 of their last 31 road contests and tonight’s Reds starter, Luis Castillo, is winless in his last three starts. D-Backs roll!

Colorado has lost nine of its last 13 games overall and has witnessed the implosion of its bullpen. Colorado relievers enter tonight's game with a pedestrian 4.37 ERA and 1.32 WHIP in 2017, including posting a 5.49 ERA and 1.48 WHIP over the last seven games.
In contrast, Chicago's bullpen owns a 3.84 ERA and 1.24 WHIP this season, including a 3.72 ERA and 1.24 WHIP on the road and a 2.67 ERA and 0.92 WHIP versus National League opposition.
Let's also note that the Rockies are just 34-72 in interleague play, including going 18-37 in interleague home games and 8-23 in interleague play against left-handed starters. Chicago southpaw Jose Quintana takes the mound in excellent form with a 1.56 ERA and 1.09 WHIP over his last three starts.
