15* White Sox/Twins UNDER 8.5
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVlCE PLAYS VlSlT THESPREAD.COM
Take the Under here with both starters looking particularly sharp latley. John Danks has put together a successful season for the White Sox, earning a 3.76 ERA and a 1.23 ERA so far. Over his last three starts, he has been superb, throwing 21 1/3 innings while posting just a 1.27 ERA and 0.84 WHIP. Twins starter, Nick Blackburn, has enjoyed even more success, showing a 7-4 record on the year with a 2.94 ERA and 1.27 WHIP. Over his last three starts his numbers aren't as impressive as Danks's, but they are still very good with an ERA of 2.35 and a WHIP of 1.35. The Twins haven't hit left-handed pitching very well this year, scoring only 4.4 runs per game against them, while the White Sox have struggled against righties, hitting .257 as a team and scoring just 4.3 runs per game against them. Both bullpens have earned an ERA under 4.00 this season, but they should be a small factor with Danks and Blackburn duking it out in Minnesota tonight.

Nick "BookieKiller" Parsons

Triple-Dime bet 969 TOR / 970 BAL UNDER 10
Writeup: A late rally helped the last-place Baltimore Orioles close out a seven-game road trip in strong fashion. They?ll now attempt to carry that momentum back to Camden Yards before heading into the All-Star break as they open a three-game series against the struggling To?ronto Blue Jays on Friday night. The Orioles will try to build on that success at home, where they?ve lost three of their last four. They swept the Blue Jays (43-44) in a three-game set there from May 25-27, outscoring their AL East rivals 23-13 after losing all three games at Toronto from May 1-3; however I'm expecting a 'letdown' in this position and believe we're getting great value on the under. The Orioles will turn to rookie Jason Berken (1-5, 6.25 ERA), who is looking to halt a personal five-game losing streak with another victory over Toronto.
The right-hander beat the Blue Jays 7-2 in his major league debut May 26, allowing two runs and seven hits in five innings. Rookie Brett Cecil (2-1, 6.23) will get his first start against the Orioles and a second turn in the rotation in place of Scott Richmond, who is on the disabled list with right shoulder tendinitis. Although Cecil has had an up and down season, it's interesting to note that Toronto has seen the total go under the posted number in 4 of their last 6 road games with a total of 10 to 10 1/2 while the Orioles have seen the total go under the posted number in 12 of 16 games at home when the total is 10 to 10 1/2! When taking into account all of the above factors I must highly recommend a play on the UNDER!
