Plus, I have a nice starter trend against Christopher Volstad that says he is 2-11 SU since 2008 at home and line less than 130 and he allowed less than 5 walks in his last start. Take the Away team for the win.

Take the Cardinals for the win tonight. I have found several nice trends in the Cardinals favor. The Astros are 6-21 since 2006 season as a dog after a loss in which they were shut out in the last 6 innings. I have the Cardinals as 20-4 SU since 2005 as a 140+ favorite vs a team that has lost at least their last two games and it is the first game of a series. I have other trends in favor of a Cardinals win totaling 30-7 SU. Take the Cardinals and get the Win.

I've seen Jason Schmidt's first two starts since returning to active duty, and there just doesn't seem to be anything left in that tank. Schmidt's velocity has diminished considerably, and his command is not there. Rookie Tommy Hanson enjoys a big edge and with the worn out LA bullpen in line for more work tonight, I think this one nis a potential blowout. I'll spot the runs and take the good price with the Braves.
